For those that are unaware of these, live versions of several songs from the San Francisco stop (I believe) of the Tango In The Night tour were released on several European-exclusive singles. For whatever reason, these were not included in the deluxe edition release of Tango In The Night. I've compiled them all and have posted a link for anyone interested in downloading and having them. They are as follows:
Oh Well - From the As Long As You Follow single Little Lies & The Chain - From the In The Back Of My Mind single Another Woman & Everywhere - From the Save Me single The Chain - From the Skies The Limit single. Of note, the same version of of Little Lies is also on the Skies The Limit single but the versions of The Chain from it and the In The Back Of My Mind single are different. Anyway, here is the download link for anyone interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1afd...ew?usp=sharing |

Those songs are more likely to show up on a Deluxe Behind the Mask, if such a thing were ever to occur. Lindsey did some work in the Deluxe Tango, and he wouldnt have included those songs because he wasn’t on those live recordings. Makes sense.

I've wished a Deluxe Behind the Mask. Although I lost hope a long time ago, you never know with Fleetwood Mac. But I see it as unlikely; I don't think it would be financially attractive for the stakeholders.
Something I don't recall being mentioned here, but surely it was, is a Time Deluxe. Frankly, I'd be very interested, but only in the unreleased, demos and alternate versions of Christine songs.

No doubt the songs are "live" but I do not think they are from the actual concert. Remember the band did that goofy lip sync performance from the songs they professionally recorded live without an audience. The Tango concert drives me nuts and I think its even worse than Red Rocks. At least Red Rocks is so bad with the close ups but you do get glimpses of the real concert with Stevie and her band on stage. The Cow Palace show was a music video. Its so fake it drives me nuts. But as an 18 year old I fell hook, line, and sinker.

The TITN concert video/DVD was heavily (over) produced visually but the songs were recorded from the actual live performances.

Notice the only time you see the audience is an inserted edit clip or far away from the stage. Or when the members are on stage and not singing and performing. You NEVER see the audience when any of them are singing or performing. Its heavily edited in visual and sound. There are many edited clips in the show with them on stage showing an audience but notice NEVER while any of them are singing. Actual live clips were edited in to the video. The close ups and sound were recorded at another time. the slow motion and foggy clips from the actual concert were edited into the video. The closing credits featuring Don't Stop is from the actual concert. You can hear the difference. Little Lies in concert was much more up tempo than the fake video version. Also notice after each song how the audience roar or applause is edited in. I find the Stevie close ups even more annoying than Red Rocks. Think about it though. Why would you need to edit in crowd noise if the recording was from an actual concert (meaning in front of an audience)? Its all so horrible. They corrected the joke of Red Rocks where close ups were reshot but there was video of the live performance with Stevie singing with different hair, etc. ALL of it was a mash up but neither the visual or audio was recorded in front of an audience. Stevie or her peeps were majorly into this crap. Remember she reshot the US Festival vocals for Stand Back for the national radio broadcast. It was far more primitive in 1983 but you can see on Youtube where her studio re-recorded vocals are not matching up to her live performance at the US Festival. Her House of Blues show in 1994 also had different vocals for the radio broadcast. All this video did was add visual to what she did in the 1980s. The thing that made Fleetwood Mac so awesome was what a beast they were in concert. But they neutered themselves with this glam 80s crap IMHO. When I found out the Sara vocals were touched or recorded in the studio on the 1980 Live album hurt me bad ![]()

In the video, she's not acting like she did in her prime, that's for sure. Her sleepy eyes sure confirms the klonopin, but she performs much better than my friend described. That's why I'd like to know what did you, those who were there, see in other shows from that tour.

Maybe later in the tour she was upping her dose. On another note. We also found trickery on the Mirage concert but not the extent of the Tango one. Lots of edits. They made YMLF into the single version with edits. When the full LA Mirage show came out, they played it like they always did. David commented that even some of Chris's keyboards were not real or plugged in and there for appearance only. Lots of trickery in these recorded concerts. But at least Mirage was real even with edits. Tango was a mirage. Now THAT is a metaphor that wins the prize!
