Default Give your money to the poor

When Peter Green wanted to give his wealth to the poor and demanded that his bandmates do the same, he was called crazy and therefore PG left Fleetwood Mac. Similar world stars are few and far between, but they do exist - one person who has the same mind set as Peter Green is the world-famous actor Daniel Defoe.

Why does the richest actor live like a poor man?

Default How did the forgotten and trampled blues music come back to life?

The credit for this goes to the young generation of musicians in the 1960s in Great Britain. Young British guitarists had got their hands on recordings of the American blues masters they worshipped as gods - learned to play like them - and what good imitations they managed to make!

They became real blues musicians.

Perhaps the greatest of the British blues guitarists of that time was Peter Green. He developed into a good songwriter who borrowed as much from the American blues masters as they had borrowed from their predecessors.

Even though the old song appeared almost as a copy under a new name, no one was upset. The old masters realized that the blues genre revived by the British was a win-win situation for all musicians performing the blues.

Here are a couple original blues songs that those familiar with Peter Green's music will recognize.

Default A guitarist who acknowledges his debt to Peter Green.

Billy Gibbons acknowledges the color and says that he wouldn't be playing guitar the way he does now if he hadn't discovered Peter Green as a young guitarist.

We can still hear Peter Green through Billy Gibbons' guitar.

Default What if...?

If the original Fleetwood Mac had been a 3-man band (Green, McVie, Fleetwood), it might have sounded like this:

Default Peter Green Disco

Here's an example of AI's growing possibilities with Peter Green's music (one of the first to use Peter Green's voice - the song and style choice could be more "Greenish").
