Default People Magazine November 2025 article

Stevie talks about her music listening habits and favorite artists. She now uses streaming services and really enjoys the ability to "like" different songs. Further down in the interview, she also discusses Buckingham Nicks and mentions that she does not own a physical copy of the album.

“opened for the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman”… Ok that’s fine if that refers to where she is located on the stage, but if that means lead singer, typical inaccurate.

I recall an interview with a photo spread that completely contradicts her not owning a copy of the album. It may have been around IYD or shockingly could have been around 2018 but I recall an interview she did, and there were photos taken in her house and there was copy of BN propped up against on a piano. I remember people commenting on "how traumatized" she was by the photo shoot for the album, yet there she was displaying the album. I am now going on a hunt to find this.

Stevie seems to be enjoying life as an old lady. Good for her.

“I'm all over the internet. I listen to a lot of current bands,” Nicks says, listing The Midnight, The White Kites and Night Traveler as some of the groups she enjoys of late.

Still, she explains, “I'm not high-tech at all.”

In the past five or six years, the "Silver Springs" singer has started using radio functions on platforms like Pandora and Spotify.

“I push the thumbs-up. Love this. Don't love that. Love this,” she explains. Then, Nicks makes a list, which becomes a tape, which becomes a source of healing and inspiration during difficult times.

Soooo....just HOW is she "all over the internet" if she doesn't own or use a computer, or a fancy phone or iPad etc etc etc??
Clearly she's on Pandora and Spotify, so she considers that "the internet"?

And what does she mean "makes tapes"... why not just make a playlist? Does she still use actual cassette tapes in a tape player? Who then records her "liked" songs from the internet onto tape for her? We know she doesn't sit there and do it. ("Karen!!")

I wondered the same. I thought Is her favorite cassette the TDK AD, like mine? But above all, Stevie please tell me where you buy them! because re-recording the ones I bought in early 2000s is no longer an option!
