Default Kim Anderson Obituary?

Has anyone seen an obituary for Kim Anderson? Apparently he has passed away, Stevie dedicated Landslide to him at her show on Nov. 12.

It was Kim's father who passed away recently.

Yes, people seem to have mis-heard her, she said the father of her only ever husband, Kim, passed away.

Interestingly it did seem as if Matthew does have a sibling now.....?

I can't help but remember when she said she'd never been married. But I don't know if she always said that. Was the "Classic Album Rumours" video the only time she said that? Or are there other interviews?

https://youtu.be/M-rfUhM3dxk?t=372

If it only happened once, one might think she just wanted to dramatize her point of view, but if it happened several times, that reflects her usual behavior.

Anyway I thought it was good that she mentioned it now and dedicate the song.

I thought she said Kim's father passed away in the video, but everyone on other sites was saying it was Kim. Thanks for the clarification. I thought I was the only one who caught that.

Wow.

Part of me thinks 'yet another member of her circle (though they haven't been hanging out for years and years and years) who has died'. This is the thing with getting older.... they start dropping. I recall Joan Rivers saying, in that great documentary about her before she died, that the older you get the fewer and fewer people who are left that you can turn to and say "Remember when?" Sure you can make new friends and all but they just weren't there for big parts of your life and don't have the same shared memory bank. I've been experiencing this the last several years and it's just yucky.

So Kim was gay? The obituary says he is survived by his partner of 27 years B'layne. I googled that name and saw Blayne's father's obituary and stated he was with Mr Kim Anderson. Not that it matters but it just adds a layer of more craziness and drama in those years of drugs and fame. It sort of explains what Stevie could not get at home she could get on the road with Joe

It puts Stand Back in a totally new perspective

No man called my name
No man came

You are right. She does say that. But typical Stevie fashion she misspeaks and says things that are not clear.

that person who is named as Kim's partner of 27 yrs is listed as the sister to several other members of their family who passed so.... It looks like when they list Kim as her partner on those obituaries they put "Mr" in front of his name so that people wouldn't assume that she was with a woman named Kim.
