for sure Christine appreciated the work he put in and his contributions to their success. She's still not going to be a lady who is bossed around. Or put up with him being disrespectful to anyone in the band beyond a certain point... or he'd end up with a drink in his face or a slap to the face.

Lindsey is a solo guy, not a group guy (he can collaborate in a group setting, but his natural disposition is to be in charge exercising full control).

This is why adding Billy made sense and probably would have worked had Lindsey decided to stay and go on with the Tango In The Night tour.
