For a 60yo singer it's understandable that song could be a hard effort. But I don't see MM as a strange song, nor with weird lyrics.

And about the initial post of this thread, do I deserve a Guinness record for not having seen a single video of this tour on YouTube? I decided that since I knew there would be that tour.

I mean, if there’s a “Missed Out On Seeing Christine McVie One Last Time” award, you’re a winner.

I’m happy I wasn’t part of that competition.

Of course I didn't even suspect it would be Christine's last time. But no regrets. Actually at that time I was upset with the whole band about Lindsey's fire. Even with Lindsey while I didn't learn about Irving's call. Anyway, upset or not, I wouldn't have enjoyed watching the lineup.

Not me. Nothing against the new guys. I am a big Heartbreakers fan from the 1980s. However the band doing Don't Dream It's Over and Free Fallin would really annoy me let alone all the Lindsey songs being performed. Those annoyances would compete with seeing Chris sing and perform her songs.
Now if they opened up with Station Man or The Green Manalishi with Neil on vocals without doing their other gig songs I could have appreciated it. But they were playing for the masses that don't want vintage songs. I am sorry but Stevie taking the second verse on Crowded House songs is really cheezy IMHO.

The most touching part of the tour was Chris acknowledging the passing of George Hawkins and Danny Kirwin and dedicating songs to them some nights. Class act!

I never regret not going to the 2018-19 tour. My heart wouldn't have been in it, paticularly with the set and experience that was on offer at Wembley. My big regret is that I didn't go to the Peter Green tribute concert which was Christine's very last live performance. I guess I let my annoyance with the band get the better of me on that one. I still kick myself over that.

Me either. Stevie's ego RUINED the ending of the band of our lives. I COULD NOT support HER version of the band.

I'm still hoping that karma drops a big shoe on her. Splat.

OTOH, Lindsey’s ego would have robbed us of hearing Christine doing a couple of early ‘70s-like keyboard solos.
