True discrete surround can be so much fun....I used to isolate the rear speakers alone and you would hear all kinds of things you didn't even know were there listening to the stereo version, because the more instruments, the more things get buried.

I love to isolate, too!!! Welcome to the Machine is amazing in Quad.

I have Dark Side on SACD. You need a SACD player which are semi easy to find at thrift stores now. Many Sony and Denon and some Yamaha DVD players have the SACD logo on them. If you plug them into any 5.1 surround amp you can hear the SACD in surround, it also works for the 2002-2003 era Rumours & Say You Will surround discs.

Rumours & Say You Will were released back then on DVD Audio; your player needs to be able to play those (as they are different to SACD).
Other brands than Sony often combine the ability to play both SACD and DVD Audio discs (look at the logo).

Currently having my own listening party. Mirage this am now Tusk on 5.1 SS. I love it! It would have been nice to have Tango on this format. Everywhere among others would have sounded amazing. Rumours, White album and Say You Will up next.

SYW has incredible mixing. I've listened to it a million times with headphones and was always blown away especially Everybody Finds Out. The drumming and the music is like musical thunder going back and forth in the mix.

Yes! I really do love SYW SS 5.1.and EBFO is one of my favorites. I currently have the White album on….Landslide is amazing!

I bought an Onkyo receiver and a pair of Klipsch speakers on Black Friday. Heard things in Rumours I'd never heard before.

I will have to give Say You Will a listen in the near future!
