The Tusk reissue is great mostly for the Tusk concert. The various versions of the songs are really cool too. Why do you think they did not include the Tusk songs that were cut from the album. For example for the Mirage reissue we got Ooh My Love and some rough demo like songs that did not make the album. Tusk has incredible songs that did not make the album for whatever reason. I've been listening to Beauty and The Beast and I have officially jumped over to say the Mac version is better. Chris's organ on it is haunting. Its not even a demo but a fully finished song. It belonged on the reissue. Fireflies as a duet with Lindsey is another one. Its a fantastic track and it belonged on the Tusk reissue. Beautiful Child should have been axed for Beauty and the Beast.
Any other Tusk related songs left out? It kills me such great tracks wont ever be released. ![]()

One of the early rereleases had a run through of “Kiss and Run,” but none of the others do. You can’t even access it on iTunes.

You mean the 2015 deluxe edition. It would have been great if the 2004 Expanded edition had also included a concert.A different one of course.
And yes, that 2004 edition includes Kiss and Run. Also two Lindsey songs that have different titles but are different versions of known Tusk songs, Can't Walk Out of Here (The Ledge) and Out on the Road (That's Enough for Me). Does anybody know the story behind Kiss and Run, a Jorge Calderon song?

Tusk had some fantastic leftovers. Beauty and the Beast keeps growing on me. Perhaps Tusk should have been a triple album ![]() But then again Rumours had some fantastic left overs. I love Sleeping Angel and Think About It.

Seriously. We never get to get this cut issued? Tusk should have had 2 great songs about Mick. I can really understand the line "you say a lot but unaware how to leave." I can almost see him babbling around her room each night.

The two cut songs that arguably received the most amount of development were "The Dealer" (written by Nicks) and a cover of "Farmer's Daughter". The aforementioned "Kiss and Run" was a result of a jam if I'm not mistaken. Nicks had a few other demos that she had written alongside "Sara", some of which were later included on Bella Donna. Buckingham had a song titled "Needles and Pins", but this later morphed into "Not That Funny" and "I Know I'm Not Wrong".
In their book Get Tusked, Caillat and Rojas mentioned that there was one McVie song from the sessions that was scrapped, although a title was not provided. And I think that "Smile at You" may have been briefly considered, although Buckingham was reportedly unhappy that Nicks had developed a song in his absence with Tom Moncrieff. That song was also in the running early on for Mirage, and there's a well-known demo of it circulating on YouTube. |

Here are two more they could have included from the Tusk era.
