Default Lindsey is answering questions on Instagram

On Instagram's story feature, Lindsey posted that he will be answering questions from fans. He has yet to answer any, but I'm curious if there are any that you would like to ask.

Did HBO/record companies/etc. have any issue with him smoking a marijuana cigarette on stage in the 1982 HBO Special?

Oh, dear god, don't axe him that.

Why not? What would you ask him?

I'd ask him how much he regrets insisting that they were a package deal.

Awesome. Though I'd expect a wordy Lindsey answer about how much success they had in all these years and how it ended doesn't change all that blah blah blah...... isn't it weird?

Lol! That's actually a good question. I guess I should have asked when he was going to put out a new album. It's been quite a few years now.

He would(unfortunately) play nice, though. He wants to salvage his legacy with FM.

(His legacy is fine, IMO)

Since September, I’ve felt that he’s done releasing albums. It’s been 3 years since “Lindsey Buckingham”. I believe he got very ill in October 2022, but he had said in that month he was wrapping up a new album. I feel he’s done with touring too.

I'm getting that vibe too. I would love an album with his take on the last few years, but to me he looks so frail now. This might be all we get from him. Social media

I would really like one more album from him. I know he said he was working on new songs. As I mentioned before I can see him releasing any leftover BuckMcVie song reworked.

He has been thru a lot in recent years, hasn't he? Fired, heart attack, surgery, COVID happened, his marriage splintered (and it got out in the news), seemingly some other ongoing health things, a stalker threatening his family (btw, anyone notice that the person was focused on his SON, no mention of the daughters in the restraining order?).... it's a LOT.

Stevie once said that she would stop being in the public eye when she could no longer be the "STEVIE NICKS" people expect (she mostly seemed to mean appearance). Wonder if that's part of it for him too, these days....people have an image of what you look like and how dynamic you are onstage and if they are going to see you and go "WOW he's really gone downhill" or "He realllly looks frail".... maybe your ego just doesn't deal.

I have to think his lifestyle would play a part in his answer. I’m a firm believer that FM would not have been the unbelievable worldwide success they were without all three singer/songwriters; no way to know for sure, of course. I have no doubt he’d do it all the same.
