I don’t know how much more clearer Stevie could have been that she was never going to record with FM again- she didn’t contribute to what became the Buck/Vie album, she hasn’t made a new album since 2011 or whenever In My Dreams came out, and 24 Karat had songs written 40 years ago. Sure, she’s dried up creatively enough that she can’t make a new album, but she’s in her 70s. She’s allowed to spend her time doing whatever she wants, and touring lightly seems to be what she wants to do right now. But she’s been very clear she wasn’t going to record a new album again, especially with FM. |

Rick Vito, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham also left of their own accord.

Fleetwood Mac would've died 30 years ago, if it weren't for Lindsey's musical vision. Your argument is both null and void. ![]()

Mick has said before that he would like to see L and S mend their relationship. that he wanted to see them sitting on an amp like J and C used to. I guess he's still hoping... but i wouldn't hold my breath. --Lis |

Neil and Mike have their own sounds and legendary bodies of work. They absolutely could have been creative driving forces. I’ll admit it was awkward watching Mike trying to infuse his sound into the Lindsey-era material (although I loved what he did on “Everywhere”), still, they could have made an album that would have been miles ahead of BTM and Time.

Melting Mick would be a really poor choice. The cash for gold joint on the corner would come up with a negative cash value, you would owe them money at the end of the day!

I would have welcomed some additional new Christine material!

Probably yes, but I wouldn't see it as a Fleetwood Mac album, even if they named so. With well known artists in the band, it would me more like those rock supergroups, like Asia or Traveling Wilburys.
