But why the crystal ball, why the strange, makeshift door, and why John on his knees—no idea. i know there are some alternates for the white album out there...i remember one had john with his hands reaching up like begging mick for the ball, and mick has a smug expression like he won't give it to him...anyone else know what i'm talking about ??

It wasn’t in that book, but it was basically the same, except his daughter’s had a knee bent and was looking at the camera.
