I must say, reading all the crotchety bitter remarks as Stevie is inducted in RHOF as a Solo artist, makes my day!
Hahaha!! Boo Hoo ya'll!
This is a terrific weekend 😊❣️

Mitzo, All the articles in the media have been mostly favorable.Lots of press. Yet I have yet to see or hear a report about Stevie Nicks' speech on RHOF taking jabs at Lindsey. Stevie may have a cult audience, but so does Lindsey. The Ledge is his Cult board, as that's what dominating 90% of posts all over the boards.
Life will never be the same! That mean old witchy goat!!
About a band.
But very funny, I gotta say

The thing that's tickling me of late is how many people are slagging Stevie off...oh she's this, she's that, she's the other, she's evil blah blah blah. WHAAAATTTEEEVVVEERRR. Fleetwood Mac, all of them, have always been a bunch of Drama Llama's. The Lindsey firing is just the latest in a long history of fall out's and backstabbing and bitching and drama. I don't know why anybody expected any different from them!!

Personally, I'm not really interested in their fallings out. Or what Stevie may or may not have done to get rid of Lindsey. None of us know her, none us know how she or Lindsey or the rest of the band were really feeling about anything.

At the end of the day....I still love Stevie's music. From Buckingham Nicks, to Fleetwood Mac, to solo - I love all of it. I love her lyrics, I love her voice. And I have done for as long as I can remember. Whatever fallings out she may have with anybody will never change that. And her induction into RRHOF is well deserved for her contribution to music. It has nothing to do with her personal or professional relationships, it's about her musical output.

"She doesn't deserve to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 'cause of what she did to poor poor poor innocent Lindsey". Actually, she deserves to be there because of her music. End of.

I agree 100% with everything you just said, and the way you said it.
It must be a horrible horrible burden to carry on now that the band splintered.
Horrible. Life has ended! The legacy is tainted! She possibly is responsible for causing heart failure! She cast a spell.
Thankfully, they can express their feelings about it EVERY DAY!
Whew! LOL

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. It makes me happy to see some sanity returning to this board. The Lindsey obsessives have hijacked it for far too long.

Thank god it's not just me!!

Don't get me wrong, her ethics as a person at the moment are probably quite questionable, but lets face it, we've all made bad, impulsive, emotional charged, questionable decisions in life because we're F*CKING HUMAN. It happens.

But equally, I don't think Lindsey is entirely blameless either.

And ultimately....urgh, whatever, just enjoy the music.

As disappointed as I am with the FM drama, she did sound FANTASTIC. She has not done the high note in Stand Back (except once when she made a mistake) since 2011. I thought she was going to trip over her shawl. It actually amazes me because her solo band sounds 10x better than FM. That performance left me craving a solo tour.

Also did Harry Styles name drop "Ooh My Love" in his speech. So random and awesome.

Oh one more thing. I didn't like how her speech was so jokey. I was actually expecting something serious. Also I think she should have thanked Waddy, Carlos, and Sharon.

She did it a few times on the 2013 tour, most notably at the O2 Arena shows that Christine attended. She also did the high note in 'Gold Dust Woman' on both nights.

LOL this is the epitomy of being a fan of someody who has completely run out of gas. Grasping onto the excitement that she actually bothered to attempt a high note during Stand Back for the first time in a decade. LOLOL...dont take this as an attack, I used to get excited about the same thing....until I moved onto other artists who actually invest in their craft, product, and fans.

What an amazing performance. The applause at the end of Edge of Seventeen was deafening.

what did she mean at the end of her speech when she talked about Sheryl Louis taking over for Howard Kaufman when he passed away and she said she doesn't like to be told what to do especially when it's a girl.

I don't get it.

She is a sexist. This is an outrage!

I just listened to Janet Jackson's speech. What a difference. She was humble and gracious. Very nice to see.

I was wondering if she was a little tipsy. Maybe some backstage celebrating going on?
