I hope Lindsey will do a Bob Welch and sue the heck out of this band for royalties. That will be more fun to watch than a new "Fleetwood Mac" concert.

Wow. Some of the comments in this thread and hatred directed to one of it’s members. I think some of you really need to grow up, realise you’re age and stop behaving like stupid little kids. Saying that someone should “rot in hell”, what the hell is wrong with you and the other idiot who echoed your opinion?? It’s just a band. No one hurt anyone (aside from the physical abuse Lyndsey Buckingham directed at Stevie Nicks the last time this went down). With fans like you guys I’m surprised the band wants to even go out on the road and ve in the same room. What a bunch of morons.

I hope he doesn't even waste his time on them. Get that solo album out! Then write a new one drawing from this experience that has a kiss-off to the band in true LB/FM fashion. Then release another solo album, and another, and another...

We are deeply hurt. We want Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie refused to record with Fleetwood mac and then brings Campbell to force Lindsey out. Any fan of Fleetwood mac is gut punched. I participate in the Stevie board and attend her shows. But she destroyed what us on this board wanted so bad. One last album and one last tour. Stevie ruined that.

I wasn't a fan 1987 when Lindsey left and they brought in Billy and Rick (I was three years old). I wasn't aware of the band in 1994 when Dave and Bekka joined the fold. My problem is that as a band, Fleetwood Mac still had plenty of time to put out new material regardless of who was in the band. Time is limited now and adding two new people to the fold is just outrageous to me.

I'm not naive to think that bringing back Billy, Rick, Bekka, Dave Weston or any of the other former members is going to bring in huge money with a new album and tour. I feel, as a die hard and dedicated fan that adding new members at this point in the band is just wrong.

I can't put into the words how sad and devastated I am. Fleetwood Mac has been a major part of my life for the past 20 years. Without the band, I wouldn't be who I am today. I probably shouldn't feel this way but I do.

Default End of an era.....

Was convinced that the speculation of the past few days was just that -speculation, so this is a lot to take in. What makes it worse is knowing what REALLY happened ....Make no mistake, this is the end of an era. I'm so grateful that I took my daughters to see this line up in 2015.
This is especially hard to take in view of positive developments of recent years: Extended Play, Deluxe Editions and Buck/Vie and the comment that" the next tour won't be the last".
Just listen to EP and Buckvie and realise what a future album from this band could have sounded like....sadly this will not happen now.
Make no mistake: LB was responsible for the Fleetwood Mac sound of its recorded material that we all love.
Huge loss.

So then it’s ok to call someone a skank and wish they rot in hell? Grow the f**k up.

To be clear, any negativity needs to be directed towards two members.
And if Christine and John have freely gone along with this without standing up for Lindsey then I'm damn pissed off with them too.

If it is true then Fleetwood Mac need to just call it (another lonely) day and be done with it and let the last tour with the 5 be their last. That way they can go out with a modicum of dignity .

You are so profoundly out of your element. Go somewhere you can actually grasp the context of what is going on. You're embarrassing yourself.

When there's mass hysteria people automatically search for a scapegoat to put all the blame on, it's nothing new.
However I'm surprised that apparently if this is all true as it seems to be, I'm the only one willing to give it all a try. If it's FM without Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Bob Welch, Stevie and now Lindsey, then it's still FM now.

Cool

Some parting thoughts from me. I actually didn't listen to Fleetwood Mac much at all between 1987 and 1997. It was just too painful. Sadly, it is 1987 all over again and this band doesn't have another decade to heal the wounds this time. I will still pull out Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk from time to time but it is going to be a long time before I do so. I will not be checking out the new lineup when the live videos start showing up on YouTube. I have great respect for Mike Campbell and Neil Finn as musicians but they will never be in my Fleetwood Mac. As for Mick, John, Christine, and Stevie. We're done. Have fun counting your money. You have taken a lot of enjoyment out of your music for me with this decision.

Wishing all you Ledgies the best.

Well this has been an interesting development!!

IMHO mike Campbell would be a great addition, but neil finn !?!?!?!?!

I don't like the way it has reached this point

But remember Fleetwood Mac was around before Stevie and LB

What i do hope for in this new line up is

New Songs
Older material ( 60's)

So i will see what set list they come up with.
If there are several different songs, then yes i would buy a ticket

This definitely does not end my hope for a new album. That already happened when it became apparent Stevie is never going to agree to record with the band again. The things you cite as positive developments I see the opposite way. the EP and BM albums happened because Stevie wouldn't allow them to be a full album and a FM album, respectively. Those were consolations to me.
