I'm pretty sure she's saying, "First he took my love then he ran".

You know what is funny. I remember EXACTLY where I was when this aired on Solid Gold. It was a Saturday night in 1984 and I saw in the paper Stevie Nicks was going to be on Solid Gold. My friend's dad was driving us to the mall which was a big deal in the 80's when malls were so fun and cool to hang out. Of course I could not miss Stevie and I sure did not want to miss the mall. So I made a clever escape from my friends and went to Sears TV section to watch Solid Gold. I made sure several TV's were tuned into Solid Gold. I remember being wowed that she sung live (a rare thing for Solid Gold). It did not dawn on my that the music was not live at the time though.
So kiddies, that is my latest trip down memory lane
