Default Question Re: John Courage

When did he stop being connected with the band? I know he was the road manager and I remember reading somewhere that he was fired (?) sometime in the 80s? I know he (and a lot of the old people they used to work with) wasn't really connected or involved with them at all anymore from when they came back together in 97 for The Dance and onwards but does anyone know exactly when his involvement with them ended?

Thank you!

Azoff fired him at the end of the Tusk tour, and Christine hired him to be her manager around the time she did her solo album. He stayed on until she retired in 1998 (he's listed as her manager on The Dance).

You know something, I was just thinking about John Courage today out of the blue. I don't know why. But I was driving in my car and thought about how I only ever had one interaction with him on FB and it was a real good one. He was, without having any emotional connection to me, very supportive of Gay rights. I was so touched.

Stevie was talking about John on Sirius-XM the Bridge. She said she would call him Sister Golden Hair and sing the song to him. That was her fond memory of him during the early tour with the Mac. Then she announced the song Sister Golden Hair and they played it.
