Default GDW Dance

What are your opinions on the interpretive dance Stevie is doing at the end of Gold Dust Woman.

I would prefer something more subtle like in The Dance. What's been going on for the last couple years seems a little bit awkward to me.

What do you think?

Stevie can get away with it and still look cool! It would definitely look silly on anyone else.

Agreed, Stevie rocks the GDW dance like the enchantress that she is. I love it; it's kinda like a cool, crazy callback to her wilder and younger days. Plus, the audience reaction to it is great. I sure know I was definitely one of the people screaming and cheering when she went into that hypnotic trance!

I definitely love it when Stevie brings these songs to life. It's pure theatre. She is showing you The Gold Dust Woman. Take a look at Mirage:

Sister Of The Moon

Stevie's an entertainer. I'm glad she doesn't just stand at the microphone as some singers do.

Sunday she did a pretty wild dance. She said that anymore she dances to the beat of the drums and even called it a crackhead dance.

That's what I love so much about Stevie. She literally feels the music within her. And seeing her live is an experience like no other because she takes you on an extraordinary journey.

the GDW dance on the FM shows was cool. On this tour, at least the show I was at, she just walked a few feet from the mic and stood there, head banging away. Hardly a dance but the crowd seemed to enjoy it. I think she could do more physically if she wore more comfortable shoes!
