No, not what I was saying. But...what I am saying is that I understand Stevie's reluctance to work with FM on anything at this point in time. Whether she will or won't, should or shouldn't is not my place to speculate. I'm just saying I understand why it's not fun for her. Stevie wants to make music, and have a good time. It shouldn't be an unpleasant, meticulous chore.

Seriously? This entire forum has been a hate-fest directed at Stevie since Christine came back to Fleetwood Mac. Nearly daily, there are ugly, truly loathsome, revolting, repulsive, and even sickening posts in multiple threads about Nicks. There are some folks here with serious and gross entitlement issues. I might say turn-about is fair play - but I don't have any bad feelings towards Lindsey and would feel equally grossed out if he were getting the same treatment.

i don't know. just look at the threads about possible FM album release and tour without Stevie. there are number of threads diminishing Christine's role and contributions in the band, her musicianship, etc etc. the thread title such as "FM album without Stevie is just a LB solo album" doesn't strike you as a complete dis especially on Christine as a songwriter and then on Mick and John? a number of people here tried to pull these threads of the utter negativity they seem to go to really fast but they quickly get pulled down again.

i won't even comment on all LB blaming, dissing and attempts of diminishing his role in the band that always goes on here, and still does. it should again be enough to look at recent threads here to see plenty of examples. so if there would be any turn-about maybe people are getting tired of that particular line of bashing?

OK, yeah. There has been some of that. But in comparison - no one is talking about Lindsey or Chris in the same way they are talking about Stevie - it hasn't been *personal* with Lindsey or Chris. But Stevie? She's apparently fair game for whatever. She's the scape"goat" for the disappointment of so many regarding the lack of a new FM album. There are comments about her weight, her clothes, her voice, the way she talks, how she's selfish, she's jealous, people saying they *literally hate her*, that she's a bitch - it never stops. It's been every. Single. Day. You should know - you were in all those threads.

If I didn't have a job I am supposed to be doing, I'd spend my day compiling all the vitriol posted here about Stevie over the past 18 months.

i have no idea what she's saying but seems pretty clear she's working real hard trying to instill negativity between fans.

Lindsey sometimes speeds himself up so much he sounds like a chipmunk, Stevie seems to be often nasal enough that she sounds like a goat. neither thing is nice but it is what it is.

My copy finally arrived last night. I listened to some of it on the ride in to work this morning. The sound quality is fantastic. I love the early take of Love in Store. The alternate take of Only Over You is interesting. The early version of Eyes of the World is great, too.

Have to listen to other stuff soon.

I echo the poster above: who wrote "Put a Candle in the Window"? Nothing on the package indicates the songwriting credits for non-album tracks.

Would anyone else support download stores like iTunes including digital booklets with these Deluxe reissues (such as Mirage), which are usually provided in PDF?

These can be viewed on all portable digital devices and are an alternative to physical booklets that can suffer from wear over time if viewed a lot.

I'm currently having to scan the CD booklets with my scanner/printer, which is the closest I can get to digital artwork.

Some artists now provide all digital booklets with their albums, but not Fleetwood Mac.

Are you quoting Amazon UK Marketplace when you said £38? That was me selling my copy. I was the only one selling it at £38. Unfortunately, it's now been sold to someone in the UK.

Nope. that was the price when I pre-ordered it back when it was first announced. The shipping was around $2.99 and the "foreign transaction fee" was $1.99.

Altogether it was $55. Worth it!

Yes. It's really sad, especially when compared to other bands. The Rolling Stones do a superb job.
Stevie's team is a little better now with the upcoming tour, let's hope it stays this way.

I FINALLY got my Mirage box set. I'm loving the alt tracks next is the 5.1 SS mix. I can only hope we see a Tango release with the same treatment soon. I'm loving this!!! These box sets are so much better then just releasing a remastered disc. Worth the wait!
