Does anyone know whether Karen J ever frequents these boards?
If so, I wonder whether she might have a quiet word with Stevie. Stevie herself lives in her own little bubble but it might be interesting if someone subtly told her there was some ill-feeling brewing.

Stevie keeps bragging that woman in her family live to be 90 years old. However how many women in her family were cocaine addicts for 15 years. That had to of hurt her heart muscles. She would be very lucky to live to be 75. And how many women in her family lived the rock 'n' roll lifestyle? The human papilloma virus causes cancer and I wonder how many versions of that are floating around in her body mutating. The older she gets the weaker her immune system will be and she won't be able to fight off stuff like that. Cancer is a huge threat to her.
I'm well aware that cancer is never funny, but this literally made me choke on my coffee...

Stevie! jbrownsjr said you sound better than ever. He wants to hear you play the piano solo with your black gloves and sing all your 24 karat pieces. But he hinted he doesn't care which one. signed Karen..

I think someone has glanced here. One time we had a thread about Stevie's red shawl and in an interview Stevie said that people on the internet were talking about her red shawl.

I don't think they read it regularly, but maybe they pop in when a new record is released or a new tour starts or something, just to get the reactions.

The day Karen told her she broke the internet when she wore the red shawl.

Before I have someone jump on me for that comment, I'll lay out the evidence. Lindsey has immensely softened his sonic style with his most recent releases, most notably with the EP and soundtrack songs. He's worked with outside producers, and collaborated with popular musicians... two things he hasn't done in decades. He has also greatly softened his tone with Stevie in the press, and remains steadfastly complimentary and understanding of her. He's pulled out every trick he can muster to make Stevie happy, yet apparently none of it is enough. He can't be happy, no matter how Zen he appears these days.

Getting back to Christine, I doubt she's upset... but I get the distinct impression she's itching to make up for lost time. She's come out of her nearly 2 decade long abdication eager to record. How do we know this? She's so intent she's even openly speaking about the band moving forward without Stevie, if necessary. Christine is a fairly understated woman, so for her to make such a bold proclamation, it means she stands fully committed to recording, and soon. I also suspect that she wouldn't make this announcement to the press if others in the band didn't share her feelings, too.
i agree with all of this. although i suspect Christine must be somewhat frustrated.

and i hope they have seriously decided to move ahead as they claim.

i'm sure they all [finally!] discussed it, including Stevie, since all their statements are coordinated enough and can easily be read as a part of the same picture.

Just heard that new EOTS song (Dull & boring "elevator music" almost puts you to sleep) and if this is even a minute indicator of where "Overdub" is going with the new FM songs then Stevie is wise to stay as far away from it as possible...

She seems really eager to co-write new Fleetwood Mac. That's really exciting.
