She had a real rough time on that 2012 tour. Her set was only about 10 songs and she was struggling to get thru them. I fear she will get burnt out quick with a long set and all these dates. My prediction:

24 Karat Gold
Dreams
Mabel Normand
Moonlight
Gold Dust Woman
Soldier's Angel
Landslide
Lady
Wild Heart (acoustic)
Bella Donna/TISL/Rock a Little medley
Rhiannon
Starshine
All the Beautiful Worlds
Edge of Seventeen
Stand Back
Love is

Based on what's she's said in interviews, past set lists, and the fact that this is her first big arena tour in a very long time, I think she's gonna try a longer setlist
Here's my prediction:
1. Standback
2. Dreams
3. Rooms on Fire
4. Starshine
5. Sorcerer/Belle Fleur
6. New Orleans
7. Rhiannon
8. Bella Donna
9. Wild Heart
10. Trouble in Shangri-La
11. All the Beautiful Worlds
12. For What It’s Worth
13. Talk To Me
14. Gold Dust Woman
15. Soldier’s Angel
16. Landslide
17. Twisted
18. Lady
19. Mabel Normand
20. Edge of Seventeen
21. She Loves Him Still

(note: this is not a wishlist, this is a prediction)
Bonus: Wild Heart will be the first song dropped, by the 4th show

Call me cynical but I think Stevie will play her standard setlist with just a couple of 24K songs. I don't see either Bella Donna, Wild Heart or Rooms on Fire making it past rehearsals.
Stevie has a tendency to make all kinds of ambitious plans for her upcoming tours but once the tour kicks off it's just like the previous ones. Like in 2005 when she said on Jim Ladd that she'd do The Highwayman in Vegas ~ boy did that turn out well

No prediction setlist here...just a wishlist so to speak.

Loudspeakers...Planets of the Universe (#1 Dance Illicit Mix) playing before the show.

I Can't Wait
Long Way To Go
Rooms On Fire
Ooh My Love
Dreams
Mabel Normand
Blue Denim
Stand Back
Wild Heart
Twisted
Rhiannon
Sorcerer
Belle Fleur
All The Beautiful Worlds
If Anyone Falls
Starshine
Moonlight
Wide Sargasso Sea
Edge of 17
~ Encore ~
Bella Donna
Italian Summer

Looking forward to seeing Stevie and the Pretenders here in Nashville.

Rod, I would flip if Stevie started off with I Can't Wait! That would be such a wild start to the show. I really think the reason she struggled with the song before was because of her drug use. Being clean and sober, I really think she would kick this song's a$$!

I also love your ideas of Long Way to Go and Ooh My Love. So underrated and would sound so good live.

I'm *hoping* that she'll consider the following for the arena tour -
1. More video - a great way to use those HW pics
2. Video/Music breaks between segments of her show - a way to give herself and the band a short break - Kind of like on the 1998 Enchanted tour, playing the instrumental "Rooms on Fire" intro while they set up for the acoustic set
3. If "I Can't Wait" just can't be in the main set, then use it before the show or during a break - Use a remix. I would also love to hear "Long Way to Go" or "Ooh My Love" used in this way too.

I'd LOVE to hear "I Can't Wait" as a show opener. I think she could totally nail it.

People seem so cynical about the setlist, always going back to 2005 when she had no new product to promote. Her IYD tour featured several new songs, with a solid 6 that were a permanent part of the set, and 3 others that were played live at least once. As others have mentioned, the Enchanted tour was incredible. And TISL was fairly ambitious at first, but she was sick for a lot of that tour, and after 9/11 she just wanted it over. We have to wait and see, of course, but it's not like Stevie has no history of trotting out the songs she believes in.

Very true, Michael. I lucked out that Stevie sang all my favorites from Trouble in Shangri-La- Planets of the Universe, Bombay Sapphires, Too Far From Texas, Sorcerer, Everyday, and Fall From Grace.

I think the constant overlap of FM material makes her solo tours a little redundant.

I agree with this or at least include FM material not (or seldom) done with the band shows like her solo versions of Angel, Straight Back, No Questions Asked, Paper Doll, Affairs of The Heart, etc...

I am curious to what she considers an alternative setlist that she would play in a club.

I would only hope it includes the urban mix of landslide

...plus all the regular staples. I doubt she will push the boat out too much.

Stevie has confirmed the following:

1) She'll be singing Edge of Seventeen, Stand Back, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon, Landslide, Soldier's Girl, Moonlight, and Rooms on Fire.

2) She sang Leather and Lace on a recent TV appearance.

3) She said she'll sing "bits and pieces" of Bella Donna and "maybe" the Wild Heart.

4) She'll possibly sing 4 songs from 24 KG, which comes to 16 songs.

5) Since this is a double bill, Stevie will probably perform 90-100 minutes. That means she'll likely perform 16-18 songs.

6) She said she'll change her set list throughout the tour.

Did I leave any thing out? What do you think of the songs she's confirmed so far?
