I'm 125, too. 5'7". When I was a freshman I was actually 20 - 25 lbs heavier. (I'm a senior now) I feel a lot better about my weight now but still wouldn't mind at all gaining 5lbs or so. I'm not eating/drinking the junk that I used to back then. I'm not working out now either, but I still don't gain weight.

AgeOldDesire, I never knew you were so tall!

I've been trying more protein; that really does seem to help.
Hey, now I have an excuse to eat more chicken wings!

Hello!

I don't have a TON of cellulite, but for someone who is as dedicated to working out and eating as well as I am, then god dammit, I don't want to see so much as a dimple

Yes, to those who asked I had a baby girl in September.

I find that increased protein helps me too - keeps me full longer & helps with toned muscles. I don't really do "low carb " but I try to eat more whole grains & stuff like that, while increasing my protein.

Higher fiber foods keep me full longer too. If I eat cereal with less fiber, I'll be hungry in an hour. High fiber cereal? I'm good for 3 or 4.

Also, I eat something every 3 or 4 hours so I'm not famished & gorging myself. A piece of fruit, some yogurt or cheese, etc. between meals holds me over.

I can get myself down to 117 fairly easily with exercise, but I can't decide if I want to put in the effort to be noticeably that tiny, or if I want to eat whatever I want for the rest of the break and still be in good shape, though not as impressivealy so, when I get back to school. I realize this whole post probably seems ridiculous. Practical application: I can't decide if I want to go downstairs and have homemade chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. I think I do.

Edit with a question: Has anyone's base weight that they float at changed? I used to be naturally heavier than I am now, not by much, but without exercise, I would be around 135. In college, though, those ten pounds just disappeared. Is it an age thing? My lifestyle hasn't changed at all.
Marissa.... stop bitching. Of all people on this earth, you are the one who is not allowed to complain.

As for me, I'm 5'10" and I honestly have absolutely no idea how much I weigh because I stay as far away from a scale as humanly possible. Seriously, I run from them.

Same here. Scales are not allowed in my house, and I truly have no clue as to what I weigh (I know I weigh less than the last time I was at the Dr... but other than that! ). It's just a number... one that shouldn't have any impact on my happiness and self worth!

There's one thing that I have to admit I have difficulty understanding.
Don't get me wrong, anyone, I know it's
often difficult to lose weight, etc., and I realize that some things
are genetic and can't be helped. Here's what I have to honestly
admit that I have a little trouble with though - - -

It's after the first one thousand pounds. Now . . . 750 pounds I can undersand... Even one thousand. But somewhere between the neighborhood between 1,000 and 1,500 pounds, I start to become a little politically incorrect and start to run out of sympathy. Sorry, but shouldn't the first thousand pounds be a little bit of a waker-upper? A sign that maybe one should get to the doctor or something???? Even, I dunno, go on a DIET or something?

I had to work this one out cause i've only ever used Kilos so i'm 176lbs and 6'2, i've lost about 5 kilos since the middle of last year, which is ok,
I think that it is good for people to share their weight for them to truly feel comfortable with themselves,
Or at least set out goals; so this thread is really cool.

It's time to go on a diet again. While not quite

Time for an update. Tonight 189 pounds.

Why was I cursed with this love of snack treats?

No excuses. Diet time.

After I drink my strawberry milkshake.

Well, that was a little more information than I needed.

What are these "abs" you speak of?

Whatever they are, I'm pretty sure I don't have them.

Circa 128 lbs and 5 feet 4 inches. I'm not too concerned about my weight but I should do some light exercise to tone up since I even have a lot of green near my house.
