Of all the tours and musicians Stevie has used.....create your favorite touring band.
Here is mine: Drums: Rick Marotta - Rick is one of my all time favorite drummers. He plays so heavy and loud and he added one of the few highlights of the Rock A Little tour. I wish Stevie would use him on every tour. I know Stevie loves Russ Kunkel but I prefer Rick's drumming. Lead Guitar - Waddy Wachtel - that's easy enough. Great chemistry and I love that he played lots on Bella Donna so I love to hear anything from Bella Donna live. To hear his guitar play at the beginning of How Still My Love is amazing. I don't think this song can be done live without Waddy. Rhythm guitar - Les Dudek - He is more of a lead guitarist but for this tour he will play rhythm. What a treat to experience his guitar work during the Whole Lotta Trouble tour. He adds such an edge to Stevie's live performance. Percussion - Bobbye Hall - tough call. Stevie's percussionist during the Enchanted tour was off the chain. I think he also was on the Dance FM tour too. But nostalgia wins me over. Bass - Bob Glaub - This is probably the toughest call. Wizzard is a runner up. Stevie has worked with some amazing bass players. Piano and keyboards - Roy Brittan - This was actually the easiest choice. Every Stevie tour should include Roy. He adds so much to the live show Keyboards - Benmont Tench - Just wow to get Heartbreaker sound from her 2 first tours. He adds such mystery and depth to the live music. Back up singers - ONLY Sharon and Lori. I draw the line on this one. I don't want 3 and I want no substitutes!

I wish Bob Glaub played more than one tour. The chemistry between him and SN was sweet to see. |

The HBO show band lineup was the best.Others were good but the HBO band is imprinted in my mind to be the best.

I wouldn't change the BD lineup one bit. As good as a backing band can get.

it's Roy Bittan. And I love his work with Stevie....he helped her rewrite How Still My Love into what it is today, and turned BATB into something beyond her playing on the demo

Yes I know Bobbye is a woman LOL and she was NOT on the Enchanted tour though. You are correct, I believe it was Lenny Castro both on the Dance and Enchanted tour.
