They sure do have that fire. I could feel the excitement reading the interviews. Buckingham/McVie is fantastic to my ears.

Why would Lindsey and Christine be more exciting than Lindsey, Christine, Mick and John? There's no better drummer and bassist they could work with and with them they are Fleetwood Mac. The new material I'm sure had a spark in large part due to the rhythm section.

I don't believe John was there. And I think Nicepace is referring to the articles where both LB and CM stated how magical it was to work together again. They weren't sure how it would come off due to the long break between CM and FM.

Those articles got me really excited. Two years on, I'm disgusted. If they go on tour without new music, I'm done.

With the "Mirage" reissue coming in June, let's hope we hear something (anything!) regarding this new album. I can't see them scrapping it, but maybe a late 2016 or early 2017 release. Time is marching on....

Don't we deserve more than hoping to "hear something"? These people drive me nuts! And so many of Stevie's fans on her forum are saying she sounds so much better without FM and is happier without FM.Fine. That may be true. But then quit the damn band and everyone else move the eff on. New music. Nothing else is real at this point without that new music.

Totally agree that we need to hear something. I'm not interested in the concerts, I'm satisfied from seeing them in 2014. I want the new music!

Absolutely! I didn't mean to imply I wanted to hear Chris & Lindsey without John and Mick. The only Fleetwood Mac member I am happy to do without is, well, the one not mentioned in this paragraph.

You know, it's like you guys are just coming here to hate on....the one who won't commit to making new music. I mean, WTF?

I LOVE Lindsey, Christine, John and Mick.

Y'all just rude!!!!

I will patiently continue to wait since we have the Mirage box coming in the meantime and it's surround, which is how I like my Mac when possible
In addition to Rumours being my first cd purchase in 1983, this album was also my first DVD-Audio purchase. I wish all their albums would be released in surround.

It's a gift, to be sure. But it's not enough. It would be great icing on a cake that the band has not yet baked. Or something like that.

They will finish it. Linsdey will make sure of it.
