of course FM booking and going to studio in april gives me a strong feeling of deja vu.

2014 anyone?

next we'll read that 4 members of FM are in the studio working on some great new songs while the only one they still need to add some contributions hightails to nashville.

I'm sure it will happen, maybe not by April but they will finish this album. I just need 3 or 4 new Stevie tracks and at this point a late 2016/early 2017 release for the album works for me.

I betcha Stevie has more than enough great songs up her sleeve, some new and old demos, she most probably is going through the process now writing or deciding which would be more suitable for F/M .. Im SURE the whole band would want to be fully involved, bouncing off each others creative ideas, just like the old days.. This perhaps being their final album its gonna be well worth the wait i expect some really healthy competition between all 3 song writers.. Exciting times ahead

Oh god, I think I would rather she didn't contribute then. I love Stevie and her songs the most but Dave Stewart's production and composition style is utterly tacky. He should have stopped producing back in the 80's. Even then his songs were bad. I just cannot stand the thought of Dave producing her songs, he makes them so unlikable and synth-pop-py.

Ok so Christine did mention the possibility of another tour. So there's a small chance we might get Hold Me. Sara too. Also, the potential for deluxe Mirage and Tango releases.

If she's been working with Dave on tracks then that can surely only mean a SN Songs From The Vault. Surely he wouldn't be producing songs for a FM release???? I mean he could, but surely he's need music made by Chris, Lindsey, John and Mick in the first place. I'm pretty certain Stevie hasn't done anything creatve with FM so there wouldn't be any Mac material available for Dave to work on.

I'd guess she's working with Dave on material for a SN album for release later this year.
She may still join FM in May/April to work on FM material for a release at the end of the year/early 2017.
