Sharon singing Landslide with someone that isn't Stevie

[Sanne2]

Randomly stumbled upon this, Sharon doing backup vocals for singer Pamela Polland

it's very rare to spot Sharon "in the wild"!

Nice, thanks for sharing!
What are the ties between Sharon and this Pamela Polland?

In June 2010, Polland released "Hawaiianized", a five-track digital download EP available internationally via iTunes and other digital outlets. The mini-album, part one of an envisaged series, featured pop classics interpreted in Hawaiian style with new vocal arrangements and 'ukulele accompaniment from Polland. The collection was produced by John McFee of The Doobie Brothers, who had played on Polland's self-titled Columbia debut, and who also played a variety of acoustic and electric stringed instruments on the EP. The set's distinctive background vocals were sung by Sharon Celani, famous for her work with Stevie Nicks and others

From the Polland Wiki

Perhaps she could play Mick's restaurant. Who knows Mick might even lend his ukulele styling's to her next record.

It's the John McFee connection then, most likely. She worked with him on Carlene Carter's 2008 album too, of course. http://www.allmusic.com/album/strong...783598/credits

That was an interesting snooze fest performed in front of a geriatric crowd. Sharon made the vocal more exciting. I wonder if this would have been Celani's fate had she not been discovered by SN in 1978?

That was a great description of that event, Viv, lol! Now after that snooze fest, it would have been cool if Stevie would have come out rocking to Stand Back, that crowd would all be on their feet!!! LOL!

I like the point you brought up about Sharon. It is interesting to think what would have happened to Sharon if Stevie would not have scooped her up all those years ago. She has a beautiful voice and this performance would have been better if Sharon was singing lead.
