I've been listening to alot of older shows and have been surprised to hear John talking and introducing songs etc at concerts. I know John is the "quiet" one, but he seems to have really really quieted down with age. I wonder why?
I was listening to an interview from 1976 and John is just blabbing away. In fact, he talks more than any body else, even Stevie! He's actually pretty funny.

I don't really think John has been too talkative since around the time of Rumours. Not sure what the problem is...actually, at this point, I think John just enjoys being John. He doesn't have to be out front (a la Chris, Lindsey, Stevie, Billy, etc...) and he doesn't think he should be out in front in the spotlight (a la Mick).
