Default Florence Welch with Stevie at O2 Concert!

Was a dream to harmonise 'happy birthday' with this magical woman, All my love to @stevienicksofficial xx

A photo posted by Florence Welch (@ouhoh) on

Considering my two favourite female artists of all time are in the same picture together, I've been literally screaming since she posted it!
I also thought I would edit, because some friends back in London shared with me their experience, as I was unable to be there... They told me Landslide was dedicated to Adele (!!) and how wonderful everything was. They were disappointed they didn't play Edge of Seventeen though

I'm falling for Florence more than ever now. I bought her first album, not sure what to think. I love the stripped down style she has taken now. She has a voice I didn't expect to love, but it's growing on me. And she exudes a very unique vibe. I hate to say it, but in this picture she looks like Mick Fleetwood in drag.

It's heartening to see so many new artists revere Stevie. Like many others, they are influenced by her iconic style. But oddly, it's a style Stevie has mostly abandoned years ago. Her ubiquitous black dresses have taken over as her uniforms of choice all the time. Colors and variety are rare in occurrence. I think her everyday apparel is probably more appealing. She looks great in all shades of color, but black is her default. As her age advances, she is at risk for being mistaken as something from The Tails from the Crypt, or the lost member of the Adams Family, dah dah dah-up. Snap fingers now. Come in out of the darkness. Lighten up Stevie!

not the most flattering shot of Florence...but I do love her music. First album blew me away. Second one I wasn't crazy about and still am not. I cannot wait for album #3 because I really like the songs I've heard so far and the videos, which all seem to be related. This appears to be quite the concept project.

I've given up on Stevie's wardrobe. What I once found utterly fascinating has become disappointing and sad. I guess that's what she wants to wear these days and, of course, that's her choice but she could look so much better if only she'd explore a fraction of the options she once did.

I think Stevie wears black a lot to hide her figure or flatter it a little bit..? Although she looks beautiful in gold and red... Recently she wore a full red outfit and it made her look huge.
