Sorry, I'm getting to the party a little late regarding Stacy having tweeted information about the current situation with Richard and the blog. I see from the link to her twitter in a few posts above that she said "You guys are all amazing, thanks for following & supporting us for the last 9 months. The blog may be done but now you know what happened" I'm guessing that there must have been some tweets that were deleted? Can anyone share what she said that would have "let us know what happened"? Thanks for any info...

Did ANYONE read the dang Life article?

From the tweet it sounds like they may have had some quotes from Ken in there, and he left out any mention of Richard & his hand in the production when asked questions about it and I guess it rubbed Richard the wrong way, as if Ken was taking all the credit and he was being erased from the history of it all. That's what I interpreted the tweet to mean....

But I haven't read it, so I don't know. I'm just speculating, as we all are.

Whatever the cause, I'm sad the blog is gone. I enjoyed it.

Yes, I read it, but it wasn't just one Life article. The magazine had write ups of all the eras of Fleetwood Mac and quotes involving them. Yes, Ken was one of the people interviewed and I agree that he didn't like that Ken didn't talk about Richard's input, working alongside, when Ken discussed all the stuff that he himself did.

Richard lost his power with the band a long time ago and therefore he is irrelevant to the press. He faded into obscurity. Ken obviously is still en vogue. Because of that, Ken had the opportunity to paint the picture as he saw it. Christine thought the article was great. As long as the band is happy with it who cares what Richard thinks? Maybe Mick and Linds will affectionately ask the press to call Richard next time they want to do a story on the band.

yes. it was a nice and positive blog, with new and interesting pics and some different and good info. too bad it's completely gone now.

i'm happy though that Richard seems to be fine.

I'm only half way through it, but it does mention what Ken wrote in his book about Lindsey allegedly hitting his girlfriend and choking Ken. Richard could be upset about that, that the magazine focuses on the tabloid aspect rather than on the music.

I'm another one who hasn't read it.
Can somebody just clear up for me- is there a new interview with Ken or is everything culled from his book? If a lot of it is taken from his book I can see how certain extracts in isolation could be misrepresentative. Overall Ken was very warm towards Richard in 'Making Rumours'. From what I can remember though he tended to make out that Richard focused more on dealing with the band and he did more of the technical stuff.

Well, some of Ken's comments are new, but some are lifted straight from his book. The book is 96 pages, lots of them pictures, but still Ken's comments are sprinkled throughout. Like you have a song by song analysis of the Rumours tracks and comments are in there and then you have summaries and Ken and Keith comment through those.

Just finished and Ken's comments, both old and new do come off as bitter/fit for the tabloids. He talks about them abandoning Judy Wong, not rehiring Richard in 1997 when he was "at the point of being broke", refers to Stevie, Mick, and Chris as "coked up crazies" amongst other things.

It seems as though Richard has deactivated his Facebook, too. He's gone from my friends list(even though Stacy is still there), and I don't find him on her list, either.

It's too bad. Richard, if you read this, we fans TRULY appreciate you sharing your years with FM with us!

If he has deleted everything because of Ken, that's too bad. He had a lot of friends who loved his blog and Facebook page. There must be more too it. Maybe Richard should write his book and get his side out to the public on his life with Fleetwood Mac.

Such a shame it ended the way it did, (unfortunately the poop hit the fan) for some good reason, we will never know.

Richards blog was priceless!! i loved it and much appreciated the candid photos and stories behind them ..

Last night I was going to upload pages from Life where Ken speaks, but you can't read the writing if I just photograph them. I have a scanner, but it has a feeder and it is not flatbed.

Here's the picture I liked most of Christine though.

Well this is interesting...on Ken's twitter, in response to Richards twitter comment is this...(maybe one of you younger people who know how to take a snapshot pic of the twitter and post it here can...but for now I will just paste the text...)

https://mobile.twitter.com/kencaillat

Ken caillat ‏@kencaillat

@RichardDashut I always tell interviewers at the outset of an interview that when I say I , I always mean Dashut and I. I haven't seen it
10:12 AM - 16 May 2015 from Westlake Village, CA

Then someone else made this comment:

LadyWho ‏@MrsFoulmouth
@kencaillat @RichardDashut - "when I say me, I really mean Rich and me. But I just say me, tho." That's some interesting BS

Not a screenshot, actually. You can embed the tweet/s, using a code that twitter itself supplies.
