i must stop reading such stuff... still more than 2 months till the london concerts. how will i survive the waiting?

Merf, I'm so jealous! I didn't get to go to the Greenville show because I was on a business trip in New York City. I didn't get to make the Greensboro show because it was the day before a huge project deadline for me. I've resigned myself to the fact that I just wasn't meant to see them on this tour. But I'm still jealous! I thought of flying out to another city to see them but the truth is that my work has been crazy all year long and I've been working 12+ hour days for months now. I'm not complaining--I'm too happy to have a job in this economy. But I would have loved to have seen the Mighty Mac one more time. Anyway, at least I do manage to steal away some time to get the scoop from my friends on The Ledge. I'm glad that you had such a great experience and scored those front row seats.

Wow, THAT is dedication! How awesome that you are so dedicated to your work- to the point where you declined to see one of your favorite bands. That is REALLY cool

MAYBE if (and "when" hopefully!) they come back to the US and do the "sheds" next year you can go to one of those shows! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

MERF----------> GREAT review! It sounded a lot like the Atlanta show in terms of energy- how incredible to have front row! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and it really brought me back to my concert! Thank you for your greatness!!!!

I honestly love what I do for a living but wish it left me more time to actually live my life. My job is built around deadlines. If I miss one, my company would have been out over a hundred grand and I would have been out of a job, and unfortunately, there's no way to postpone anything. It is what it is. Anyway, I love Fleetwood Mac and have been a fan for 28 years now (since I was 11), but I don't think Stevie & Lindsey and the crew are going to volunteer to pay my bills so. . . no FM for me this time around. At least not so far, anyway. Honestly, after things just kept working out like they have, I just felt like there was some reason that I wasn't meant to see them this time around. Maybe there's a better FM experience awaiting for me somewhere down the road. Who knows--maybe I'll end up like Merf and score some front row seats. That would be the ultimate.

And in another Greensboro/Fleetwood Mac related item, I read this very sad story in my local paper this morning:

Dale Jarrett's crew chief's wife, her sisters killed

GUILFORD COUNTY

Winston Cup crew chief Shawn Parker's wife and her two sisters were killed late Wednesday when their limousine was struck in the rear by a pickup and exploded in flames on Interstate 40 in Greensboro after they left a Fleetwood Mac concert. Tara Howell Parker, 29, of Cornelius, was the wife of the crew chief for Dale Jarrett's No. 88 Robert Yates Racing team.Also killed were Megan Elizabeth Howell, 16, and Mysti Howell Poplin, 24, both of Mocksville. One of the women is Parker's stepsister and one is a half sister.

The pickup's driver, Jeffrey Niles McFayden, of Greensboro, was charged with driving while impaired and with three counts of second-degree murder, police said. As of Thursday afternoon he was being held in the Guilford County Detention Center. His initial $300,000 bond was increased Thursday to $800,000.

Funeral arrangements for Parker were incomplete Thursday.

The limousine's driver, James Cannady, 42, of New Ellenton, S.C., escaped the car. A third car, a 1997 Ford Escort, also was struck in the collision. The driver and passenger were not injured
