Thats good to know.I'm glad my store was right on top of things and get the new issues on display.I probably would had to my local mall today"Saturday" to search for it.

Or drive to B&N and get it.

So far it never showed up in the mail yet. We'll see Tuesday .

Question

Got myself a couple copies today at B&N. Went back to the magazine racks and didn't find it. So I was going up to the front counters to ask about it and there it was by the check out. Yaaaay!!

Vanessa Carlton is far from legendary. I do not get Stevie's great admiration for her as an "artist." I can't stand it when they duet together. I can't stand Carlton's mealy, mousey vocals. I wish Stevie would collaborate with some women who can stand toe to toe with her like Florence Welch or someone of that caliber. I'd like to have my socks knocked off, not watch/listen idly while she babysits some young no-talent ingenue. So incredibly boring....

Check your grocery store like Shop Rite if you have one where I got mine up in the checkout line.
Also check news stands and drug stores.

I'm still surprised the biggest store in this country "Walmart" does not have it stocked.

I have a feeling all of those Tom Petty specials are not selling. All the places had his issue will stocked and it looks like they are not moving off the racks.

I checked Meijetd too. I don't think Niki Minjas issue sold very well. It looked liked none of them sold at Meijers, Barnes and Noble or Walk Mart.

[Oh, you like crime, Stevie]

Jan 17 2015 21:48:37
By Jon Bream Star Tribune (Minneapolis)

Jan. 17--When she gets tired during the Fleetwood Mac tour, singer Stevie Nicks likes to put her feet up and watch some TV.

JON BREAM

"If I can, I curl up with my little 16-year-old dog and a hot water bottle and a cup of chai tea and watch 'Law and Order' or 'NCIS' or 'NCIS: LA' or 'Criminal Minds' or any of those crazy shows. Maybe because they completely take your mind off of everything. That's really fun for me. Not that I specifically like crime, because I don't. We feel like we know all those characters so well. So that is relaxing for me."

Smile Got it

I got my copy at a Target which is not near where I live, but I was out doing some errands in another city in my state yesterday, saw it & bought it. Anyway, I think that this may be as close to a biography as we'll get even though I think this is pretty much all known.

Now why was she blasting her music? Yeah I think she may have been trying to get under Lindsey's skin. Now don't get me wrong; I love Stevie, love her music, but why couldn't RS have done a story on Fleetwood Mac, especially since they, as a whole band, are touring.

I hope my dog lives to 16 years old; he's 11 now & he always seems to get sick, but you'd never know that he's 11, still acts like a puppy.

Hope Stevie gets to do everything she'd like to do as she mentioned in the article.

Lee

A Florence Welch and Stevie Nicks collab would be wonderful. Passionate, dark and witchy... And it'd be especially interesting to hear how their voices go together, seeing as they both have voices that aren't 'traditionally pretty'. I can just imagine the wailing and the twirling of chiffon...

It depends. This is a profile. Their other standard feature is The Rolling Stone Interview, which is the kind of dry Q&A you're referring to.

I am ecstatic that she's on the cover, and I think the description of her in the first few paragraphs is one of the most accurate ever.
