I would just like to say that I have not and will not be buying 24 kt any way shape or form, I need my money more than diva...and with her comments of f u to the mac...she lost one album sale right here with her giant ego.

Just its sad that they didn't leave on a defining moment of major statement of their enduring legacy. Dick dash is doing it for them in lieu of the Mac album we'll have his blog. Reads like a memorial request.

Christine didn't come out of retirement just to go back in. Her first priority in coming back was to make new music, and wanted to do that with Fleetwood Mac. I don't see Stevie's participation or lack thereof changing that equation.

To be fair, she hasn't said no. She's being very vague about her future plans, but she hasn't said she won't be a part of the album.

Oh No she lost a sale I hope she doesn't have to sell the big house now...So are you boycotting all of FM now??? Because if you are not you are putting more M O N E Y in her pocket than one record would...

The retreads would be good but they will go flat with us fans.LOL pun intended. I agree.

If this entire Ledge board boycotts the band or its members it probably would not put a dent in tix sales or album sales.

it's funny to read these comments - apparently he/she does not have the right to buy or not buy whatever they want and say what the reasoning is behind that without being quartered and jumped on by bunch of people.

how is SN losing sales of an album for which she uses [much larger than her own] FM name and tour articles to advertise?? there were at least several big-audience articles about this huge sold-out reunion FM tour where half of the article was talking to SN about her album that just came out with links to it. apparently opening for completely unrelated artist Rod Stewart was providing her larger platform than FM for advertising whatever album she had at the time??

Rod Stewart was in a band with Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green.

THANK YOU!!!!! I've been thinking this for weeks!!!!

I have a feeling if this new album comes to life .I think it will be a killer because of all this drama going on .

With the no comments and little tidbits from all band members . I have a feeling something could pop up in time.

With todays power of the internet with its social media outlets and iPhone's.
Sooner or later the cat will jump out of the bag with some good info on whats going on.

It was great with Dave S sharing tidbits with us fans about Stevie's solo albums.

She's getting a huge promotion as is Mick with his book on this tour. I saw many little stands with both items.... Buy my merch!

Mick could also promote his book by holding it up at the end of the show.Maybe he sees thats not the time to promote it during a concert tour onstage.

It would of been nice to plug Stevie's CD and Mick's book onstage.Maybe it not the right time to do it.

All that is rather tacky. Last thing I want to do at a concert I spent big money on is to be pounded over the head with buy this, buy that or a commercial on a video screen. Frankly, it's vulgar.

I feel like I haven't seen much discussion about how Nicks directly admitted that when she started 24 Karat Gold, it was just a contract obligation. I know a lot of people were suspicious that was the case, but it's interesting she directly admitted it. Almost to the point where it's like she's saying to us "Hey shh...I know you want a new FM album. Just let me get this out of the way first".

I think that points to suspicion that the record label didn't want her album sitting in the shadow of a looming Fleetwood Mac project and probably told her to keep hush about any plans outside of 24KG. They obviously wouldn't want 24K instantly getting lost in the excitement and anticipation of a "Swan Song" album from FM.

I'm beginning to wonder if she didn't rush into this album to fulfill her record obligation so she could just get it out of the way in order to actually make room in her schedule for her band. I know this has definitely been speculated.

So in the meantime, what do they do? Play up that Stevie isn't all the way in yet. Create some tension and drama for the media. Get fans worked up and interested in what's going on, etc. etc.

Just some thoughts I've been having....
