This may sound like a silly question but my health is iffy and the venue is a bit of a drive and last year I remember thinking wow, they put on a long concert. So I'm hoping to be well enough to hit the Detroit show tonight and probably am going either way but how long have the shows themselves been on this tour? 2 hours? 2.5?

I think the Pittsburgh show started around 8:15 and was over by 10:50. Hope you feel better soon!

The show is about 2.5 hours. (Laura--who has mobility issues--and I were at the show in Indy last night.) If you can get to the venue early, it will give you some time to rest up a little. Also, ask the ushers to help you if you have difficulty with steps. They will find someone to escort you (same with restrooms if needed) and secure elevators if your seats are on the floor level.
Have a great time!!

Indy was 2.5 hours last night. And Christine sounded AWESOME. No high note issues at all.

Thanks so much, all of you. It's just been a rough year for me but I'm SO GLAD I get to go, it's been the one thing I've been looking forward to for months. Venue is out of handicap seats which was my preference because I can walk but not well/long and have a wheelchair but venue will wheel people from the door to their seats. I'm going with and aunt and uncle who I adore and don't get to see often so that adds to the fun. They're big concert goers though not necessarily big FM fans but we tend to share a love of 70s rock so I'm hoping they're as wowed by the show as I expect to be! Last year was my very first FM show after a lifetime of being a huge fan. I rank it as one of the best experiences of my life honestly. Sounds like this years tour is blowing last years out of the water. And after the year I've had, I so deserve a night of fun.
Anyway, thanks again and I totally agree about getting there early! Last year I was living in the Detroit area so drove myself, met a friend, but there was this accessible parking snafu so we ended up late, didnt even find our seats until two songs in. So things will definitely better getting there on time, having time to breathe, etc. hadn't even totally thought that through but I agree. Thanks again. ![]() |
