Default Her eyes looked sad

I may have missed a thread somewhere, but anyone notice how unhappy Stevie looks before Everywhere started at the Philadelphia show? Jim Powers' video focuses right in on it.

Yes. I think it's just her getting a bit emotional seeing Christine back in the limelight again. That's my opinion anyway.

I agree.

At the M&G, Mick told about Christine at the end of the 1997 tour. She decided to get rid of her keyboard and music instruments. Since she wouldn't use it anymore, she had no interest in keeping them in England.

But Stevie said No!! Don't throw it!! And she kept all Chris stuff at her home. And now that she came back, Stevie appeared with the keyboard and everything and Christine said NOOOO!!! You really kept them??

So yes, I think Stevie is more than happy and thrilled about Christine come back. And she never lost hope.

I understand this, but to me she just doesn't look happy. I know the face of someone overcome with emotion or whatever; to me she just looks like she is not enjoying being there. I say this because I sent that video to two casual-FM-fan friends both of whom made the same observation independently, and I wondered if anyone else had spotted it.

It looks to me like Stevie smiles at Christine just as the lights go down.

Wow I just notice that she was had the sad face.

Stevie probably had got some use out of Chris's keyboards as they were with her and keep the dust off them.

She's not sad, she's just emotional over what Christine is saying.
Christine sounds great!

She looks tired. Touring is tough work-- and she does it well. But she's not immune to the rigors of the road.

She just looks tired to me- and very intently listening to what Christine is saying. Her slothful tambourine playing & stage moves confirm her lethargy.

Stevie has always had the so called "resting bitch face," too- and that's something that only gets worse as people age & their faces migrate south.

She always looks like that. I think she put a nice smile as the lights went down.
