Default Thoughts on the Possibility of More US Dates?

What are your thoughts on whether more US dates could be added to the upcoming tour? I have been keeping my fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe, more dates could be added as I want so badly to catch a show with the full lineup, but all the announced stops thus far are a little farther than I'd like to travel. The last time we saw them was on a trip through Charlotte (which is a 3 hour drive for me) and since we knew we were going to have to stay overnight, we decided to make a weekend of it, sold our terrible very back of the floor tickets and bit the bullet and bought 8th row center seats from Stubhub. It was more than I had ever paid for a concert ticket to see anyone, but it was worth every penny. Just far enough back to have the whole stage and not have a kink in your neck from looking up all night, but close enough to really be a part of everything. (Hooray, performers didn't look like ants and my short stature only had to try and peer over 7 rows of people!) I NEVER have good luck buying tickets on my own and had never been able to get that close for any concert, so it was so exciting. Anyway, I know that as much as those Stubhub prices pinched last time around, that with Christine back, they've got to be even worse this tour, so with that in mind, I was hoping to get something closer than Atlanta or DC so I could avoid plane tickets and hotels if possible. Sorry for all this rambling. If they did add dates, anyone have any thoughts on a time frame that we might expect to start seeing them?

So long as all members are healthy (we haven't heard much about John's cancer lately), I definitely predict they will add a European/Australian tour & second US leg. I foresee this tour lasting about the same length as Say You Will's. In other words, they'll easily be touring until the end of 2015.

I sure hope so (and I know that those folks in Australia and New Zealand who had dates cancelled last time around really deserve it). Also, by that time, maybe a tiny bit of the novelty of having Christine back may have worn off and there will be a tad less competition for tickets. That's my story and I'm sticking to it anyway...

Yeah, second US legs don't tend to be as populated as the original one. I remember on the first leg of Say You Will, the band was playing arenas. The next summer, they were playing the "sheds" aka amphitheaters, which generally hold a few thousand less people.

With Christine being back, they are going to cash this cow for all it's worth. So I have no doubt there will be a second US leg. Especially if this new album comes to fruition, they will be adding additional dates to support it after it drops.

I find it odd that there is NO Las Vegas date thus far. I fully expect a Vegas date to be added, either at the end of the first round, OR on an upcoming second leg. I think this FIRST leg was only announced so they could DOUBLE TOUR and hit markets twice, pre-album and then a SECOND time with the release of the new record. CHA--CHING....$$$$$$$$. That cash-grabbing MICK is behind this.
