I've been listing to the original demos on YouTube. Not too familiar with them. I bet that mystery snippet from last month is Baby Doll. Maybe those few lines that we heard were knew additions, but it fits the mood: angry, very angry. the song's subject matter too. It fits. What do y'all think?

I just hope that when we finally know the track list, we will be grateful and happy for what we are getting, and not bitch too much about what we personally wanted, especially if we haven't heard the record yet. After all, it's Stevie's/Sophie's choice, not ours. It's amazing she is even doing this.

I reminds me of Paul McCartney's massive backlog of least 50 unreleased songs ( not demos, but complete studio recordings). Starting in the early 1980s he wanted to compile some of them for release as Cold Cuts. As the years went on he made several more attempts to launch the project, which was conceived in several configurations - a single album, a four CD set, a double album etc... He finally just gave up on it. And he was aware that most of the songs were already in circulation among fans.

I posted awhile back that I thought Baby Doll might make the cut..could be another verse that was omitted from the demo.

Watch Devil and The Dealer were the two I was most wishing for, this is such good news. Thank you for this post, it only intensified the suspense surrounding this album.

I hope, hope, hope Watch Devil has that funky cool sound the demo has.

Yay for The Dealer! Just need Joan of Arc and All The Beautiful Worlds confirmed now and I'm very very happy. Ditto Julia.

I will be happy with any track list that happens to be presented for "24 Karat Gold". There are dozens of demos out there that I have always hoped would get studio recordings. My personal hopes for the track list are "Julia", "Watch Devil", "Blue Water" and "Space Needle". But, I have taken the last few weeks to reacquaint myself with some of the demos that I've not listened to. I've particularly fallen in love with "My Sanctuary, My Stronghold", which, for some reason, I had never paid much attention to. It's a beautiful song.

If his information is in fact TRUE, then we might get more Rhiannon songs, since the "Blue Water" demo was on the Rhiannon film score master reel.

Regardless, I'm just glad we'll be getting more info via her Instagram real soon. August 5th can't come quickly enough.
Actually you should probably remove Julia and Blue Water from the tentative list since Moe has recently shown himself up for the latest in a growing series of track list fakes.

Agreed. Removing them now...with a tear in my eye.

I also removed Gypsy Beggars, just because it's still just "spec" at this point.

Hi all. While waiting for my account to be approved, I put together my wishlist, because I want to play too, lol.
1. The Dealer
2. Belle Fleur (am I the only one who wants this?)
3. Love And War/Mixdown
4. Watch Devil
5. Forest Of The Black Roses
6. Maker Of Birds
7. Cecilia
8. Love You Enough
9. If You Were My Love
10. City Of Hope
11. All The Beautiful Worlds
12. Space Needle
13. Have No Heart

I'm happy because Starshine and 24 Karat Gold would have been on the list anyway.

Also, as an aside, I successfully Shazamed the 15 second clip of 24KG from Dave Stewarts fb page. It's possible the tracklist is tucked away in Grace note if anybody is better at searching non-searchable databases than me.

Finally, howdy. I'm a geology grad student in the Midwest. I've been listening to Stevie and Fleetwood Mac since Behind the Mask and Timespace. I still wish they'd do Save Me on tour, since that's the song (along with Sometimes It's A Bitch) that got my attention to begin with.

Glad to be of service.

I know - I grew up in a small town in the late 80's/early 90's, though. My options were limited. In retrospect, there's a lingering sense of mouthpuke about my entire adolescence.

I think Save Me is a great song. I don't want them to do it on tour, but I wish it had gotten more attention.

Poufed bangs, hair gel, sheer mid-rift blouses, shoulder pads, slap bracelets, stirrup leggings, what's not to love?
