What are your favorite and least favorite songs on each solo album?

[darklinensuit]

And just to make it difficult, NO ties and NO runner-ups. Please pick ONE favorite and ONE least favorite.
(And yes, I do like all my least favorites, so this isn't easy for me either.)

Mine are...
BD - favorite: The Highwayman
least favorite: Outside the Rain
TWH - favorite: Nightbird
least favorite: Beauty and the Beast
RAL - favorite: Imperial Hotel
least favorite: I Sing for the Things
TOSOTM - favorite: Ooh My Love
least favorite: Alice
SA - favorite: Destiny
least favorite: Greta
TISL - favorite: Sorcerer
least favorite: Love Changes

If I can do it, so can you.
(And yes, I do hear the hairs bristling on many Ledgie necks from my picks. )

I'll give this a shot.... though I usually love even my "least favorites"....

'Bella Donna':
Favorite = "Outside The Rain"
Least Favorite = "Think About It"

'The Wild Heart':
Favorite = "Beauty And The Beast"
Least Favorite = "Gate And Garden"

'Rock A Little':
Favorite = "If I Were You"
Least Favorite = "Sister Honey"

'The Other Side Of The Mirror':
Favorite = "Ooh My Love"
Least Favorite = "Long Way To Go"

'Street Angel':
Favorite = "Kick It"
Least Favorite = "Docklands"

'Trouble In Shangri-La':
Favorite = "Trouble In Shangri-La"
Least Favorite - "That Made Me Stronger"

[TwoTricky]

OK....here we go...

BELLA DONNA:

Favorite: Kind of Woman
Least Favorite: How Still My Love

THE WILD HEART:

Favorite: Wild Heart
Least Favorite: (this is very hard!!) Gate and Garden

ROCK A LITTLE:

Favorite: No Spoken Word
Least Favorite: The Nightmare

OTHERSIDE OF THE MIRROR:

Favorite: Juliet
Least Favorite: Cry Wolf

STREET ANGEL:

Favorite: Greta
Least Favorite: Love Is Like A River

TROUBLE IN SHANGRI-LA:

Favorite: (call me crazy!!) That Made Me Stronger
Least Favorite: Bombay Sapphire

[dissention]

My list:

Bella Donna-
Fave: Outside the Rain
Least Fave: Think About It (I *never* listen to it)

Wild Heart-
Fave: Sable On Blonde (absolutely gorgeous!)
Least Fave: If Anyone Falls

Rock A Little-
Fave: No Spoken Word
Least Fave: Rock A Little (truly dreadful, IMO)

Other Side of the Mirror-
Fave: Long Way To Go (love the beat, the lyrics, the vocal)
Least Fave: Ghosts (I think this ranks as one of her worst)

Street Angel-
Fave: Love Is Like A River (incomprehensible hack-job but it's the best rocker)
Least Fave: Docklands (how do I hate thee? ah, let me count the ways!)

Trouble In Shangri-La-
Fave: Trouble In Shangri-La (some of her best lyrics EVER)
Least Fave: That Made Me Stronger (self-indulgent and just plain bleh)

Between the three Timespace songs, I'd say that Sometimes It's A Bitch is the best one. Love's A Hard Game has incredibly cheesy lyrics and I don't have the patience for Desert Angel to ever listen to it.

Bella Donna
Yay: Bella Donna
Ugh: Leather & Lace

Wild Heart
Yay: Sable On Blond
Ugh: Wild Heart

Yay: No Spoken Word
Ugh: I Sing For The Things (or I was going to say "everything after I Can't Wait on side one of the LP")

Other Side Of The Mirror
Yay: Rooms On Fire
Ugh: Whole Lotta Trouble(I just think this should've been recorded by Fleetwood Mac for BTM)...AND...it was so tempting to just say "the rest of the album" here

Street Angel
Yay: Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind
Ugh: Just Like A Woman

Trouble In Shangri-La
Yay: That Made Me Stronger
Ugh: Too Far From Texas

There ARE some leftover "yays" & "ughs" (including tunes from Timespace and Enchanted as well as CD singles & soundtracks):

Yays: Blue Lamp, Violet & Blue, Sleeping Angel, Battle Of The Dragon, Somebody Stand By Me, Thousand Days, Gold

YAY-est: Touched By An Angel

By far the Ugh-est of 'em all: Whenever I Call You Friend

Bella Donna
favorite: "Outside the Rain"
least favorite: "How Still My Love" (I don't dislike it, the lyrics just aren't as good as on some of the other songs)

The Wild Heart
(This is my least favorite Stevie album)
favorite: "The Wild Heart"
least favorite: "Sable on Blond" (what the hell is she even talking about?)

Rock a Little
(This is my favorite Stevie album)
favorite: "The Nightmare"
least favorite: "Rock a Little (Go Ahead Lily)" (again...don't dislike it...I really love all the songs on this album...but, if I have to pick a least favorite, this is it)

The Other Side of the Mirror
I haven't heard the whole album, but of the ones I have heard...

favorite: "Rooms on Fire" (this song rocks)
least favorite: "I Still Miss Someone (Blue Eyes)" (she just sounds so tired on this one)

Street Angel
The only songs from this one that I've heard are the versions that are on Enchanted, which I hear are a little bit different. Of those...

favorite: "Street Angel"
least favorite: "Destiny"

Trouble in Shangri-La
favorite: "Sorcerer"
least favorite: "Too Far from Texas" (the first time I heard this song, I thought "What is she doing?")
