Did the band still do cocaine during Tango in the Night?

I think it did say that in Mick's book. They definitely didn't quit drinking though. In a recent interview from 2013 after Christine's performance in London she said something about none of the band drinking anymore and that she had never done a show without a drink. It might have been the same interview, I'm not sure, but she also told a story about the band all getting drunk together after a show on The Dance tour and John expressed his undying love for Christine or something, so they at least all drank through the late 90s.

Fair enough! I was in a pissy mood when I made those comments, and was being over-sensitive and protective. I just felt that they shouldn't be so defined by their past. They are very different people now. Can you imagine things you did in your past being discussed over and over? Oh wait...that's what Stevie does all the time!

I agree, I'm not defining them by their past, they have a long history, most great classic rock bands do. This just happens the be the aspect of their history I find most interesting.
