This makes me happy. It means that it is not so rushed and that he is still perfecting the pieces. Thanks for posting this.

What do we know about this album? She wrote songs about her mother and Game of Thrones... Dave called this album Classic Stevie Nicks... anything else?

Waddy seems to be as involved as he was with "IYD"...

Stevie very well may owe WB a release next year...Christine's unexpected return and FM's fall tour would have thrown a major wrench in the works as far as what Stevie was planning for 2014...Personally I don't think FM has any plans to put out an album this year or next year...Seems to me that FM is in a rush to get Christine's recording done before something happens...It's better to get her songs recorded now because should something happen like she changes her mind or someone falls ill they already have CM's songs done...What is being worked on now could most likely be for a "Farewell Album" out in 2016...Yes I said 2016...If Stevie owes WB a solo record out in 2015 I don't see them putting out a FM record at the same time...

Dave encouraged far superior vocals on IYD than were present on TISL and SYW, but he needs to be tougher on her with this next batch.
I thought she had some really good vocals on TISL. Sheryl brought her higher range back (Sorcerer for one) and I thought she didn't sound as "processed" as she does on a lot of tracks with Dave.

I'm thrilled that this album is moving along so rapidly. Considering how quickly they're working, I'll be really surprised if we don't get the album sometime this year. Or within the first few months of 2015, at the latest.

I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up, but gosh that would be great. At the very least, I bet Stevie will do a few solo shows this summer.

Stevie's record will be out in 2015 with minimal FM touring 30 to 40 dates early in the year...Stevie's record will be after FM wraps up then she will promote and tour...

That would leave room for FM to tour Australia in February then UK in March/April...

I think Mac will tour Australia/NZ from February-March. Stevie will release her CD in April/May. Then Mac will tour Europe Summer 2015 (Glastonbury's in June)

This has to be my favorite piece of information to come out regarding this album. I just love strings in pop/rock/folk music, and I loved them on In Your Dreams. Very encouraging news.

History would indicate that this is correct since it usually a year or so after we hear about her starting to record and the album being released but something about this one feels different..like it could be out much sooner than we expect.Does anyone know how quickly it could be released if they really wanted to get it out ASAP..I'm thinking like even July but I am certainly no expert.

Yes, just the way Mick described the concept of them knocking it out quickly made me think they intended on releasing it quickly too.

I don't know how quickly it could be released. I mean could she do a round of interviews in June to promote it? Then, head back for FM rehearsals in July.

There might be one concert, like at the Wiltern, a listening party and one for the east coast too, but I don't think there would be any other concert dates this year.

Also, I'm not saying this is a country album, but with the CMT awards being June 4, I'm thinking that Stevie might have at least one song ready that might be appropriate for a performance on that show.
