Prepaid Cell Phones

Hi All,

Has anyone ever used or is currently using a prepaid cell phone? I'm debating whether or not I want to go that route. I like the idea of having no contracts and not allowing myself to be easily traced. But I do want GPS navigation. Anyone have any advice or input?
