Default See what Country song was #1 on the day you were born

Mine is Jerry Reed - She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft).

Country songs have some great song titles!

Wow thanks for sharing.I remember that Jerry Reed Classic when it came out.

Mine was Patsy Cline 'She's Got You"

Loretta Lynn covered 'She's Got You" 15 years later in 1977.

My era of country music.

WOW! I know I am OLD, but didn't think I was THAT old...

One of the songs that launched ROCK & ROLL topped the COUNTRY charts??

#1 on the Country charts on my BIRTH day was:

Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel"!!!

WTF?

If this were a contest you'd win.

He ruled the charts.

Heck, I'm so old, I'm surprised there was even such a thing as MUSIC when I was born!

(in my best David Letterman impression): And, this is not a competition, so please, no wagering.

Heaven's Just a Sin Away - The Kendalls

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

um...."You Always Come Back to Hurting Me" by Johnny Rodriguez...I had never heard of it until just now.

In the Pop world...I am quite aware that it was "My Love" by Paul McCartney and Wings
