Yep. This. I was really young and didn't keep up with her much then, but it was SO weird. Like something off a soap opera. When it didn't last I think anyone with any compassion could say, yeah, grief will make anybody crazy.

I also wondered about her around the time TOSOTM came out. Just the haunted look in her eye and the occasional comment in interviews. We know what that was now too.

Stevie's eccentric and does some crazy things, but I wouldn't call her crazy.

This isn't crazy but goofy.It seems at least once during each set Stevie almost misses her cue even when the set is the same night after night. You can almost count on seeing her doing a half run to the mike after she's been wandering around doing or thinking about God only knows what.An "acid bubble" in motion...

She's pretty batty IMO.
How about the time FM was staying at that French Chateau and she requested to sit down and talk with the spirits that "haunted the house", but only if "they were okay with it."
Or the baby dolls with their own names and cradles who get taken out in public?
Or the fact that she has like aliases with fake names and backstories.
And the fact that she ended her "marriage" because the ghost of her late best friend stopped rocking her baby's cradle at night.
And her "spirit catcher" that she is dead serious about.

Does anyone remember Stevie talking in the early 80's about her fear of bending her neck and head back because it was bad luck or something? I always thought that was a bit odd.

Though she posed that way for the Mirage album cover and in the Stand Back video.

I think the deal with her head according to her was that she could only hold her head normally or down,but not back because she was a monk in a past life-ok,babe,whatever you say....
