But we probably won't find out. I'm sure that if he has been diagnosed for some time he already has been receiving treatment.

Maybe if there hadn't been any soundproblems yesterday, Christine would have joined them on stage again?

At this point, all I wish for (apart from John making a complete and full recovery) is a final FM album with all five, a short tour, and a DVD.

Don't stop thinking about tomorrow.

Couldn't have been easy to perform anyway, but with Christine behind the mic, wow. Amazing to think what the thoughts in everyone's heads were tonight.

If Christine did perform with them, it would've lit up all the warning signals.

@applebucked:
No one would have known. I would have loved something meaningful nonetheless because I somehow suspect we won't be hearing anything substantial in the near future.

Post Official Announcement Posted.

Sorry, but there's been an official announcement now.

http://www.fleetwoodmacnews.com/

If you go to the Live Nation web site you'll find that all of the upcoming shows have been cancelled.

It's confirmed on Fleetwood Mac News that John McVie has cancer.

We can all wish him well and if so inclined, pray for his speedy recovery.

Is that official though? It doesn't look like it's run by management. It's hosted by blogspot.

There's a link to the announcement from LiveNation, which is the promoter for the FM tour, making it official.

On the Live Nation website, each of the shows that were scheduled to be coming up also has a "Cancelled" notification next to it.

He must be mortified to have his very personal news now public, but I am pleased they gave the reason rather than leave us speculating.

Well, I'm with John McVie and his family. I'm with you too, people, praying for a good recovery.
Cancer over here, cancer over there...I'm tired to read about cancer and to know how f**** bad is.
Get well soon, John McVie!!
