Ha, not quite. Listened to it live (whilst recording it live) and then uploaded it whilst I started doing the transcript. That kind of took a bit longer than it takes to listen to just the 17 minute interview, lol. My typing skills are SO not even close to that fast. And no problem - tis a pleasure.

Thanks for sharing.It will take me a couple days to transcribe an interview .I dont know how the people that type the live Closed Captions for TV can keep up with the person talking.

Well, suddenly she and Mick are back to being "best friends" again. They must have mended whatever was going on.

I love how she says that Christine just had this natural sort of authority and she could totally say to any of the men "knock it off" and they totally listened to her.

Pleasure. I just spent a fun half hour transcribing my favourite Lindsey mentions from the other BBC radio interviews, too. Amusing to see the main thrust of what she wants to emphasise in the media this go around...

Ditto. I don't think she's ever really said anything about Seven Wonders, but nice that she actually acknowledged it's existence. I'd imagine her being asked about it and going "Seven what?"

Yes! Even a nice little shout-out to Sandy "Thanks for giving me a great single when I didn't have one! You're a pal!" would be nice to hear from her. She says that's how SDMHA came to be, so obviously she's ok with admitting that sometimes she's sometimes needed help in the name of commercial appeal.

I also liked how in the Rhiannon story, she mentioned that she didn't want to release the song as a single, but it did well and that was when she decided to trust record companies, because they knew what they were doing. I'd never heard her say something like that and I think it explains a lot of choices in her career, which have often been to her detriment.

It's sort of the inverse of the Kate Bush/Wuthering Heights story. Nobody wanted her to release that song as her first single, then they caved just to "teach her a lesson" and then she ended up being bang-on, and never listened to a record exec again. Early experiences shape so many of our future choices.
