Stevie really says some silly things....

[gldstwmn]

Here's what Rupert said about making TOSOTM with Stevie:

Stevie Nicks has referred to The Other Side of the Mirror as her personal favourite of her solo albums. It was her biggest success in Europe to date. Recorded at her home in Los Angeles and at my "home" in England (Farmyard Studios), the album featured many songs co-written by Stevie and myself and a special magic emanated from the two of us.

Here's another one of my favorites.

Playboy-July 1982
(what Stevie thinks she was in her past lives) "I think I spent alot of time in old churches. I'm very comfortable around that kind of music, with that kind of creeping around, with being very quiet. My ballet teacher believes that my head was cut off in another life, too. I totally give with my body except for my neck. Even if I go to the beauty salon, I can't put my head back. They have to hold it or it will drop. The same thing happens when I dance or get a massage. It's very weird."

LMAO!!

Personally, I don't see what is so hilarious. Do you not believe this could be true?

How about that 1970's-era piano version of Rhiannon...the one in which she speaks very spacey in the beginning. I'm speculating that she's addressing her piano player, because I hear her say

"Richard...We have to go to park and record, you know, the sound of birds...rising...you know...their rustling"

Stevie in LaLaLand

I don't get any "Lala Land" from this! Stevie is playing piano here, and I've always taken it as: she is reapeating things she said to Lindsey and Richard Dashut about the way she wanted Rhiannon to be recorded and is answering back with the responses she would have liked to hear (as opposed to the ones she got).
Forgive me, but I think it's a bit rude to say that about something that was clearly very emotional for her.

No, I don't believe it. I've seen pictures of her with her head back. And I think its silly. Anyone want to post one?

I know what you mean...Mirage cover, etc, etc, but it doesn't mean is doesn't scare her to do it. Sounds like you just have different "beliefs".
