I actually have the Planets single. I absolutely adore it. It's really the only not-album Stevie thing that I've really bothered getting. If Planets had been included in the poll, it might have been a tougher decision for me. To me, that is just the perfect song.

Those and If Anyone Falls were probably the most glaring omissions, yeah. There's a few others I could think of, too. I didn't mean it as a slight against your poll though, whitewingdove. I hope you didn't read it that way. If anything, I consider Talk To Me dead weight on any good Stevie poll, and was happy to see it absent.

Wasn't Nightbird released as a single? That would be my pick for favourite.

If Anyone Falls doesn't qualify?

Speaking of WBCN, in late 1979/ early 1980, they did a great mashup called Another Tusk In The Wall.

Edge of Seventeen has to be one of my favorite singls. There's just something about that song that puts me in a good mood. Plus, it's a great song to workout to.

I see what you mean. Reason being is I was trying to give as much variety as possible. Sorry I didn't inculde those 2, now that I think about it i guess I could probably have removed once on the TISL songs :/ Sorry if I didn't get to your fav single.

I agree! But i just felt that TISL was more popular in terms of fav's. Looks like I'll be making another after this. I wasn't expecting this kind of responce, i thought results would be much different!

Talk to Me, Leather and Lace and If Anyone Falls were three of her biggest solo hits. Also, After the Glitter Fades and Nightbird hit the top 40.

Here are her Top 40 Hits
Stop Your Dragging My Heart Around Top 40 #3
Leather and Lace Top 40 #6
Edge of Seventeen Top 40 #11
After the Glitter Fades Top 40 #32
Stand Back Top 40 #5
If Anyone Falls Top 40 #14
Nightbird Top 40 #33
Talk to Me Top 40 #4
I can't Wait Top 40 #16
Rooms on Fire Top 40 #16

Collaborations with other artists
Whenever I Call You Friend Top 40 #5
Gold Top 40 #5
Midnight Wind Top 40 #28
Needles and Pins Top 40 #37

They don't give her credit for Whenever I Call You Friend, Midnight Wind or Gold as a duet in the chart books. Instead, she is called the harmony vocal, which is bull**** especially with Whenever I Call You Friend.

She does get credit for Needles and Pins

P.S. Blue Denim isn't even a good song, let a alone a hit. Blue Denim, Moonlight, Sorcerer, and Trouble in Shangri La shouldn't be on this list. They weren't Hits.

I'm sorry if you took offence to my decision. The poll was not for her biggest hits, if you read the top of the poll itself it says singles. Her singles just happened to be hits. I personally love Blue Denim, I think it's a matter of opinion whether it was a good song or not. As i mentioned before, certain fans like certain eras so i tried to give variety to the poll. I was not trying to create controversy, I was just curious as to what people thought of them. Thank you for sharing your opinion but I just thought it was necesary to claim the intention of this poll. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone in anyway, I tohught people would react differently. I repsect every fan's opinions, there is no wrong or right. All Stevie's songs are hits in my eyes.

no worries, I misunderstood the poll, I love Trouble in Shangri La the song. It's so complex and has a killer chorus. It's the best song off that album. That song has stayed with me all these years.

I Can't Wait! It was the song that started it all for me.

I shouldn't worry wwd. Nobody with their head on straight is really going to be offended by this poll. And I have to agree that Blue Denim is a cracking song! I'm actually glad to see its gotten some votes on here. The poll results are actually a lot more evenly spread out than I'd have imagined.

You said it best. While I truly appreciate Stevie Nicks as one of ROCK N ROLL'S GREATEST WOMEN, she is, for me, a country singer at heart. I know some might disagree, but I love her country songs the most. I would have like to hear her record a country album years ago when her voice still performed at the higher register. She was equal parts Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt. Stevie's country songs are amazing!

Stevie Nicks--Twang A Little

After The Glitter Fades
Rose Garden
Silver Springs (1976 version)
Leather & Lace
That's Alright
The Highwayman
Cathouse Blues
Sleeping Angel
Crying In The Night
Garbo
I Sing For The Things (steel guitar version)
