Stevie
~Blue Letter ~I Don't Wanna Know ~Illume (So many people will disagree, just my personal opinion. Not one of her best) ~The Highwayman (I know its not FM but since I couldn't think of another, might as well throw it in Linds ~Second Hand News ~Murrow Turning Over In His Grave ~Pretty much anything off of Say You Will exept; Bleed To Love Her, Peacekeeper and Say Goodbye Chris ~Temporary One ~Songbird Live (Not that its not an amazing performance but It makes me wanna fall asleep) ~Over And Over ~The rest I'll just leave blank because there are quite a few I don't like as much as others that came before Linds and Stevie joined.

Stevie
1. The Second Time 2. Affairs of the Heart 3. Paper Doll 4. Welcome to the Room Sara 5. When I See You Again Lindsey 1. Oh Diane 2. You and I (either one) 3. Eyes of the World (studio only, live could be top 5 instead ironically) 4. Cant go back 5. Miranda Christine 1. One more night 2. Wish you were here 3. I do 4. Everywhere 5. Hold Me Yes, I'm 100 percent positive on numbers 4 and 5 for christine. Everywhere in particular is an embarrassment compared to her dozens of masterpieces I'm not gonna list again but take a look at my top 20 in the Chris forum. And the thing is I don't hate either song. Hold me in particular is one I'd be sure to keep on if it came on the radio but they were obvious choices for her bottom 5.

Ooh, I don't think that's a Stevie song!
You can include pre-Stevie and Lindsey songs if you want! If that's what you're getting at. |

Christine
- Sugar Daddy - Oh Daddy - Honey Hi ( )- Save Me - Sky's the limit (and I can't include songs from the Post-Rumours era. The list could be longer...) Stevie - Storms (ZZZ) - Beautiful Child (ZZZZZ) - When I see you again (it's not too bad, but it's not her best song, for sure) - No questions asked (eww) (The same for Stevie. I can't talk about her Post-Rumours songs... )Lindsey - Caroline - That's enough for me (Oh God why...) (And nothing else.) Last edited by moon; 03-31-2013 at 12:17 AM.. |

I don't mind the verses in SMAP, but I hate the chorus So much (at least the Tusk version)!

For me the worst thing about the post-Rumours/BTM/early 90s/whatever era is the production. It makes Fleetwood Mac sound fatally bland, IMO. But I genuinely like some of the songs underneath that production, especially Chris' "Behind the Mask" and Stevie's "Freedom" (I also like Bekka's "Dreaming the Dream" but I didn't ask about her here). I would love to have live versions of some of the better songs, but since that era is like the black sheep it'll never happen I guess.
It's so funny, when I was 12 and listening to my mom's Greatest Hits '88 CD (not knowing anything about all the schisms) I looooved "No Questions Asked" Certainly more than "As Long As You Follow". |

At the risk of causing feedback bias the stats junkie in me took a look at opinions so far.
Lindsey's most disliked songs have the least consensus (opinions are more diffuse). The top 76% of his most disliked songs are comprised of 16 different songs. 32 different songs were named, vs 28/27 for Chris/Stevie. The top 68% of Christine's most disliked songs includes 12 different songs and the top 82% includes 17 (there's no in-between since the five songs that make the difference there are all tied). Stevie's most disliked songs definitely have the most consensus. The top 72% of Stevie's most disliked songs includes 10 different songs. The top five most disliked Stevie songs get almost exactly 50% of her songs' votes, and her #5 most disliked song has more votes than Christine's #1 most disliked song, and only one less vote than Lindsey's #1 most disliked song. LB 10 - Empire State 9 - Family Man 7 (5) - Red Rover, Come, Oh Diane, What's the World Coming To, That's Enough For Me 6 (4) You And I pt 2, Make Me a Mask, Can't Go Back, Not That Funny 5 (5) - My Little Demon, Murrow Turning Over..., Book of Love, That's All For Everyone, Save Me a Place 4 (2) - Caroline, Teen Beat CM 8 (2) - Only Over You, Honey Hi 7 - Skies the Limit 6 (4) - Mystified, Never Make me Cry, Oh Daddy, Sugar Daddy 5 (2)- Warm Ways, Save Me 4 (3) - Never Forget, I Do, Temporary One SN 13 - Welcome to the Room 12 - When I See You Again 9 (2) - No Questions Asked, The Second Time, Silver Girl 6 - Illume 5 (3) - That's Alright, Paper Doll, Affairs of the Heart 3 - Running Through the Garden This is given 26 participants, not all of whom have listened to all the same records, not all of whom are necessarily operating on the same criteria for "least favorite". (On a personal note, I'm pretty surprised about "That's Enough For Me" and to an extent "Not That Funny" as I always thought that Tusk is considered Lindsey's apogee, but I suppose it's more polarizing than I assumed? Also kind of surprised about "Honey Hi", it seems pretty inoffensive to me at worst, I wonder what makes it worse than so many other Chris songs. I'm going to pretend not to see "That's Alright" on this list at all.) |
