Default Additional IYD Screening in Texas (NOT an April Fool's Joke)

I was feeling pretty pissed that I wan't going to be able to see the In Your Dreams documentary. I cursed my geography, and whined to myself, 'Why can't we bring something like this to Odessa.'
Monday morning, as I was driving to the library, I passed the Ector Theater, an old movie house that now serves to bring in live shows and the occasional film. I booked it during our book festival for our Featured Author event, and we screened 'The Last Picture Show' there. That's when it hit me: I know the theater owner and I am on the board of the Odessa Council for Arts and Humanities. I decided to take a shot.
I emailed Weapons of Mass Entertainment and asked how the Arts council could book a screening of 'In Your Dreams.' I got a reply on Tuesday from the film distributor. The price was incredibly reasonable. So I shot an email to the owner of the Ector to see if/when we could book the theater. His price was reasonable too. So I put a proposal together and emailed our Exec Director, and she emailed the board for a vote.
On May 2, 2013, 2 years to the day that the album 'In Your Dreams,' was released, The Odessa Council for Arts and Humanities will screen 'Stevie Nicks: In Your Dreams,' for one night only, at the Ector Theater.
If you are anywhere in the vicinity, please come see the film. The bigger the audience, the better my chances of bringing other films like this to the area.

OMG. I just have to say I love you for this. I am currently living in Midland and I saw the documentary in Austin last month, but cannot wait to see it again! Thanks to you, I get to do that
