I saw Madonna for 99 bucks, great seats, looking right down on the stage. People who pay those high ticket prices have the cash to spare, that's all. There are a lot of people who believe that if something costs more, it must be better.

It doesn't mean anything else.

I think it's a rational thing to do. It really makes no sense for an artist to sell the best seats and the worst seats in the house for the same price. This just opens the door to rampant ticket scalping. And I'd rather see the artist make the money on those seats than some greedy schmuck who happened to get good seats by doing nothing. The artist is the one doing all the work! And the artist has every right to command the highest prices on the best seats; the free market will dictate whether or not those prices are rational.

I'm ok with it, at least the money goes to the artist instead of the scalpers.

I've already seen Fred Schneider mostly naked in a gym locker room in the Hamptons . Do. not. want. Especially for $250.

For $425 you can get a meet & greet with Mick, there are options. It's simple supply and demand, if people are willing to pay $1200 for a ticket, they will offer it. If not, the price will be reduced until someone buys it or it's put back in the general ticket pool. It's just the way business works.

Holy cats. $1200 dollar I would pay if I spend a full day with the band .Eat dinner with them.Chat with them.Photo op with the band.Photos, albums signed be each member of the band. All that will be worth the money. Not for a quick in and out thing.

Of course I hope most of the time will be with Stevie.

Also I would have a great time talking geek talk with Lindsey,Mick and John and the crew getting the technical info of the workings of behind the scenes of a concert.

I'm met some artists at face ticket value and some artists for free meet and greet.
