Default Christine Flying to LA to visit Stevie??

“She’s going to come and stay for three weeks in Maui — I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
John’s going to come over from Honolulu to see her.
“And then she’s going to LA to see Stevie, who misses her terribly and is really excited to see her."------Mick Fleetwood

This quote is from a recent interview with Mick. Since we have confirmtion that Chris is currently "jamming" in Hawaii, we know this to be partially true. So, let me get this straight, after flying from the UK to Hawaii, Chris is now getting on a plane to Los Angeles to visit the high priestess? Considering that she has a major air travel phobia, I guess she's packing some major Valium/Xanex. Moreover, she's now going to spend some quality time with Stevie. Ok, Ledgies, how do you imagine this visit to look? In what activities will our girls partake? How long will Chris stay in LA?

OOOOOHHH, WEEE, Mick is sure teasing us! Oh, Mick, he's such a showboat. He's certainly got me salivating and grasping at straws. C'mon Mick and Chris, throw us a bone......."get like you used to be"......
WHAT GIVES????????????

what i imagine is that Christine will hang out with the band in rehearsals and maybe drop in the recording studio to add some music to the FM album in making... which will be done and released before the european leg of the tour.

but that's just my imagination, i suspect reality will be much different.

I'm more excited than a 5 year old kid on CHRIStmas Eve. Mick has got Christine jetting all over the globe like he's flying Santa's Sleigh. All this flying and "jamming" and we can't even get her to step on stage ONE TIME for a REUNION show to be filmed in the UK?

Here's my guess. Could all this teasing mean something? The Mac will trudge through as a quartet for the already booked dates in 2013. As usual, we'll all buy tickets and they'll make a ton of money. After the tour, they'll bring in Chris and make a record (to include the new tracks already recorded)......subsequently, bringing Chris out for a one time only short FAREWELL TOUR to be filmed and released on cd/dvd. This would allow them to turn around and tour again in 2014/15, again making them a ton of money because we'll fall over ourselves rushing to buy tickets to see all 5 of them. PLUS, it would leave it open for them to tour again in the future because it was only a "farewell" to Chris and the Rumours 5.

Then again, I may be dreaming......Wishful thinking, I guess.

i think that macsters may wish for the same, along with you.

unlike you all, i would absolutely hate it if they turn around and tour as FM yet again in 2014/15. that's why i keep emphasizing they should get that album out this year and therefore this year's tour should also be in support of it.

I think calling it a "farewell" tour and then going back out shortly thereafter will be confusing because most would not get that subtlety.

The Christine "farewell" tour would be in 2014/15....after the new album............That would allow them to tour as a foursome again in 2018......perhaps another "farewell" tour because they will be getting really old by then.

I've seen rock n roll bands milk this "farewell" thing for all it's worth.......

From what I've read, they only plan on quitting when they die. I'm glad they're not doing the "farewell" thing.

(Yes, I work for a band that did a "farewell" tour in 2004. But, it was the "classic" line from 93-96 that reunited in 2010. So, technically, it WAS the farewell tour for the people not in the classic line-up, which was everybody but Robert Pollard.)

I will love to see pictures of that visit, but I guess it will be very private.
