Stevie was already talking about the RAL title during The Wild Heart press. After RAL she was gonna name the NEXT record Mirror Mirror but instead called it TOSOTM because she was not happy with the way MM came out.

Now can I have some M&M's please?
My bad- everything I had read I thought had it the other way around. But I guess not!

No, they didn't. It's a re-recorded version. Her voice is much deeper than the Rock A Little outtakes, and stronger. She's not doing that child-like thing with her voice that she did back then.

I still also think that you are wrong too. As far as I have ever 'heard' in the mill....there was no re-recording of MM for SA. They used one of the uptenth recordings from RAL. In the fans hands what do we have like 6-8? MM versions. One incomplete too. (meaning the fade in fade out version). I recall it being covered in one of my fanzines (Belle Fluer/later changed to Mirror,Mirror---this fanzine was done in the mid-90's by Micheal Bise--great fanzine too he was a wealth of info too. ) So as far as I'm concerned there is no SA Mirror, Mirror's. To me her voice does sound like it does on RAL or early RAL or maybe I should say MM since that was its original title back in like '84. But 'if' one does exsist....who knows......there are many original demos we do not have & well she did record new versions of old songs for each LP....so who's to say. I know I don't have any other version of it except all of the MM/RAL versions......anyway , no offence anyone......just IMO .........

I know it’s confusing but actually, the story behind Stevie wanting to name one of her albums Mirror Mirror kind of goes like this. Stevie did in fact say during a Rock a Little interview that she had the title of Rock A Little in her head before Bella Donna even came out. I took that to mean that she simply had this idea to name an album or song Rock A Little. However, in 1989 during an OSOTM interview she did say that the Other Side of the Mirror was going to be called “Mirror Mirror,” then she quickly said, ‘it was also going to be name of Rock a Little.” So again, I took that to mean that at some point she wanted to name RAL Mirror Mirror but when that didn’t pan out she was going to use it for the next record, which in fact became OSOTM. So at least a couple of times she had the idea in mind, it wasn't just for one record only.

Actually, all of the outtake versions that were bootlegged are at a faster speed; I would assume due to all of the dubbing of dubbing of dubbing of the original (stolen) tracks. This makes her voice sound less deep. The cassette B-side is, of course, at the correct speed, making it sound deeper when compared to the bootlegs.
