Actually I have no idea about how the law shakes out here. I haven't smoked it in 30+ years. I do remember however that it was out right illegal in California in the 70's and we'd smoke in public like it was a cigarette and I don't even remember anyone getting stop by the "fuzz". lol

I'm about to bite the bullet and just buy some vip seats. Does anyone know the contact info for ground control to check to make sure I don't get scammed? Just want to make sure I have all the t's crossed and i's dotted so that what happened to Nancy doesn't happen to me! Thanks!

Welp, I bit the bullet! Calling now to confirm everything is alright. Guess I'm eating hamburger helper for the next few months

me too! Just got off the phone after confirming my seats. I kinda want to throw up for spending that much money but I keep telling myself it;s a better deal than even getting the premium seats and DEF better than stub hub. I just wish FM had a better way to regulating ticket sales so that real fans wouldn't have to pay SO much to be assured good seats. Someone else mentioned Tom Petty and even Bruce Springstteen utilized GA tickets to be assured that front row seats don't go for thousands. There's just got to be a better way.

Haha I felt the same way when I printed out my confirmation. I'm trying to breathe, everything will be alright... We get to meet Mick, so that's cool - I'd rather the money go to them I suppose versus all the massive TM fees.

I keep calling to verify but can't get a representative. What is the number you are all using? I've been calling 877-GND-CTRL

Wink

Keep trying. I was on hold for awhile but eventually got through to a rep who took my e mail and was able to confirm my tickets. They might be backed up because they are so close to the regular TM sale- maybe a lot of people are buying VIP or calling about questions.

haha i just had this image of them walking out on stage, lindsey to her right. then everyone moving seats to the appropriate side very orderly like. like, oh excuse me guys, could you hold on a second! don't start, we have to switch seats. unless...you all just want to switch around. that would be much easier

To me, making it General Admission would be even worse than what's happening now.

I called that number, heard the same song twice in a row, and then the automation came on and said not to leave a voicemail and try again later.

So, I went to their Support on their website and emailed them asking them to verify and confirm my seats. I received an email back from them confirming everything no less than 15 minutes later. As far as I can tell, great customer service.

Plus, now I have black and white proof from them that I am good to go.

Same happened to me! I emailed them as well and received a prompt response. Way to go Mick! Yay for efficiency! lol
